From my experience with that and GIMP (my experience with GIMP was limited), Paint.NET is a lot more like Photoshop, for people that are used to that.The GIMP people also have a program called GIMPshop which is more like photoshop than the original GIMP is. Anyways, now that I know how to do that, I should be able to make a banner that doesn't suck. So, I'm going to try to make another one. Hopefully, the 3rd time will be the charm. I actually use gimp, I'm too poor to be able to afford photoshop, haha.That's why you don't load the trial and get the crack for the full program. I don't know any GFX-er that paid for their PS. This person needs to be skilled in Photoshop, reliable, and able to work in a team environment. So do you think you're ready to join this team? What we want you to do, is make and submit one of our main banners for GDA. The banner should be 934px X 100px in size. It needs to say "The Green Day Authority" somewhere on the banner. It also should include newer pictures of the band, in which can be found in our lovely Picture Vault. Once you think you're ready to submit your banner for us to review, go to the Help GDA page and submit your form. You will need to upload your banner to a service such as Photobucket or Image Shack and provide the link to us. We've gotten a handful of entries as of now, and a lot of them are great. Downloaded the free trial, but it's such a bother that you have to download ever how many so days. Gimp just works just fine for me. Practically the same results.
