SynthwaveTrooper Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Great thread Wonder why no one haven't made one before I've been around since the Dookie era, and I remember that I was the only one on my school who liked them. The other student always teased me for liking them :/I still get teased til this day by my best friend for liking them (lol met him a year after i got into GD too)
Starbug Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 so how are the vets doing today? So i been listening to 39 smooth alot lately, and it's brings back memories of then and now it's making news ones cause of the new girlfriend in my life. i wish i was a teenager again1039 was PIVOTAL in my life, as far as 'romance' goes. The song 'Only of You' EXACTLY described how I was feeling about this dude at the time. I was a sappy, sullen, idiotic 15 year old girl, and totally in love So did 1000 Hours.Discrimination much. Nope. I see nothing wrong w/ this. This is just a place for everyone that's been a long-time fan to come and geekout a little instead of getting ignored in other threads We're in the minority. It's awesome! lol Doesn't mean people can't come in here and add to it, as they've been doing. I love hearing how long people have been fans I'm also glad this thread has generated so much positivity, way more than negativity. Nice to see
Princess Consuela Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I'll always regret I didn't find out about GD earlier than in 2006...
Starbug Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Great thread Wonder why no one haven't made one before I've been around since the Dookie era, and I remember that I was the only one on my school who liked them. The other student always teased me for liking them :/I STILL get teased because I'm a walking Green Day billboard it's hard not to wear their shirts a lot when you own NINE, lol I didn't even realize how many I owned until my brother in law asked me, "Do you own a shirt that's not Green Day?" and then I got to counting, and it's nine. I shocked myself lol And I want more! But because of that, I get some unwanted attention and teasing from some members of my family :/ Oh well. Hasn't stopped me yet, has it? If they don't know this essential fact abotu me after 15 years, they're never gonna learn Moving back in with my father, actually ~ He's a bit older & has been having a bit of a rough time since I moved outPlus, the economy is kicking my ass  lolWhich reminds me...I might have to look for an old BOP magazine with GD in it today...lol You haven't found your Bop magazines yet?? Get on it, woman!
