What do your parents think of Bullet in a Bible?

Ha, ha, I know it's old but this has to be the most inane topic ever created. I wouldn't want my parents to enjoy the music I do because were would the fun be in that?

My dad has watched the last bit of it and agreed that Green Day are great performers. He came into the room as Billie was giving his speech during Minority and said something along the lines of "pretty deep message!", sarcastically of course.

But whenever I watch Bullet in a Bible my mother kind of sighs and says "Again Christina?" but I know she loves it.

Both my parents have watched it several times over - generally, we watch together! xD They're both really cool with everything... I mean, seeing as I'm going with them to see GD live in August, they kinda have to be! My dad actually laughs at Billie during Hitchin' A Ride, and all of Tre's parts crack him up. The sprinkle snorting is a favorite. My mom and I just basically sing along to all the songs and fangirl when Billie drops his pants or Mike makes a funny face.

I remember the day I got it, I watched it by myself first and then AGAIN when my parents got home and I forced my mum, dad and sister to watch it. They thought it was good, my dad especially, mainly because he has awesome taste in music.

Also my dad came and sat with me outside MK bowl on the second night because I didnt have a ticket

And with Hitchin' a Ride I was just like

"Uh...His hand is going in his pants soon..Should I skip it?"

And they were like "Nah.." They had to laugh about it.

And with the King For A Day parts where Billie shows his ass my dad only made some funny faces for fun xD

well my mom would be really upset with the name "Bullet in a Bible" so i cant imagin what she would say if she saw the hitchin' a ride part.

and my dad knows about the dvd but hasn't seen it, and since i watched "good luck chuck" with him i dont think he'd say anything about it, or he would be like "i bet you liked that part" lol

My parents don't even know what BIAB is, and I am probably not going to show it to them anytime soon. I don't know how my dad would react during Hitchin' A Ride. He would probably laugh, but I would never show it to my mom. She would probably think that it is "unsanitary" and "should only be done in a private place, not in front of thousands of people".

They aired parts of it on TV maybe two years ago. When I told my mum she was like "Oh, we got to watch it!". So she lit candles and stuff and made herself really comfortable and all like it was the greatest movie. She's not a big fan, but I still think she kind of likes them. She's never seen the whole thing though.

My dad's hopeless. He would never watch it.

My Mum has seen all of it (watched it with her and brother on Christmas Day a few years ago) and she's she bits of it at other times. She did really say anything at the HAR part, oh and she can't understand the lyrics half the time which I find funny

The only bit Dad has seen is the HAR, he chose that moment to walk in

I have made my parents listen to the live album though, and they both liked Green Day at one point in their lives so they enjoyed it.

They had an amazing laugh though when Tre does his little 'YEAH YEAHHHHHH!' during King For A Day.

Yeah, i love how Tre says Yeah YEAHHH YEAH!!! it's freaking funny!!! lol Well, my mom doesn't like gd too much. mm.. don't know why! it's kinda like weird!
