Was with some friends last night and OEB was in the playlist I was playing. When it came on, one of my friends goes “this is Green Day?” Apparently they’ve heard the song before, but didn’t know it was them.

Its always funny to remind myself that just because I think Green Day/Billies voice have such a distinct sound doesn’t mean everyone else thinks so

If not the voice it’s funny that the “Aaay-Ohh’s” didn’t give it away 😄

According to a GD instagram account one eyed bastard went number 1 on alt radio making it their 4th….but I thought Bobby Sox peaked at number 2? If this is their 4th number 1 then thats impressive AI had 3 same with Dookie. Shocked WMUWSE as well as Good Riddance never got to #1
