I am so excited for this new album I don’t care I am ready let’s go! Also I love how Tré follows and shares the small independent artist Comeasur731 and then Billie shared Tré’s post and then zoomed in like the pic on his original post the art is based on that was really funny! I hope y’all are following the artist now. They are awesome and it would be great to see the account grow and get more of their great art out there and shared. There really needs to be more of that. Green Day and the fandom can be very powerful. I think Comeasur731 deserves support and love! Their work has a special vibe and is super cute. I thought I read somewhere Billie saying he never really liked it. The re-recorded musical version gave him a new appreciation for the song but I think he liked the cast version better than his own. He maybe just brought it back on the recent tour because it is one of the hits people want to hear. Personally I love it, especially when it’s done live with the full band. He added a portion of it to the acoustic encore at the end of the RevRad tour and let the audience sing most of it.

They absolutely do! Jacket-wise, you can't beat the leather, though. A black leather jacket will forever and always be the classic. Btw here's another great photo with that shirt:

The records Butch has produced for Weezer, Panic and FOB are all pretty different from eachother. So I think most people just don't like FOAM stylistically, which seems to have been a conscious decision between the band and Butch. I do not think this next release will sound too much like FOAM, I would suggest keeping an open mind.

I like this theory. I hope it’s correct! Something is coming. On this we can count on but I am so jonsing for a hint. What is this? The ninth wave of the pandemic? Isolation and kind of feeling a dread and Green Day has been such a bright spot over this whole thing. The Network. No Fun Mondays. They’re amazing. The singles. Oakland Coffee House (Not so BTS) BTS videos. This band is so perfect and generous with all the work for the fans and sharing so much. I’m a fan of a lot of artists but Green Day are so special. I can’t think of another band this unique and with such a loyal interactive fan base for so many years as well as new fans coming on board as the years go by. We are spoiled. I am spoiled. I’m ready for something big from the main event. So excited to see this big exciting project from Green Day. Pretty sure it’s going to be great. I want a hint please very soon I hope! Or even just a public announcement that Lenny is a gold medal winner to distract us in the meantime. Or Tré in the shower giving us an update on anything at all even sports. That would work too. Doesn’t necessarily have to specifically be a 1972 reference although that would be nice.

Still hoping for that Exile on Main Street record Billie has been saying he would make for the last 15 yrs.
