It's a real shame that Billie's off Instagram because it would've been great to have had some Rev Rad style live streams with Kevin. At least Kevin features a lot in the BTS videos.

They (or at least I can only speak for Green Day) record and keep all their shows. No word yet on a live album. If we were to hear about it, it’d probably after the tour is over. But I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Hopefully for the next GD solo tour since at that point it’ll have been over ten years since the last live album.

Those cookies were made by Oakmont Bakery, a really well known bakery near Pittsburgh. It’s not far from where I live and where we get all our birthday cakes from. They have a nice cafe too and it’s always packed. I remember it was one of the last places I ate before the March 2020 lockdown. We got sick a week after and wondered whether we got covid there (but at the time there was no way to get tested in Pa)

I was on a phone call with somebody for work and in the middle of the conversation, they just go "You're a big Green Day fan right? How was the show?" They just... knew that I had to be there when they rolled into town this week. Guilty. Funny thing is, I don't even remember talking to them about the band. I guess it's just who I am now as a person.

Watched MTV Seville (again!) with the family last night. As soon as it started, Dad pretended to moon in front of an unimpressed and unamused Mum. He then pointed at Billie on the TV and said "he does that doesn't he?!" Let's hope that he doesn't get wise to any more of Billie's on stage vulgarities

I think the problem would be that we have live performances of almost all the songs they are playing on this tour already on BIAB and AAF

Kind of sucky that Mike mostly exclusively posts advertising but I’m so glad he’s posting at all. I’m happy to see his face and hear his voice ❤️ but yeah it seems he mostly posts Oakland Coffee ads. So happy for IG content that is not just tour generic photos. These stories from Mike actually made me happy. So nice seeing and hearing him ❤️ I miss him and Tré posting so much I’m so happy when they do I’ll take anything ❤️ And the lead singer guy not posting and deleting his account is another thing all together What is it like 4th or 5th wave of the pandemic? At least they could post stuff like this. We’re not getting television or radio interviews or anything. And those Oakland Coffee so-called behind the scenes videos are basically concert footage. We get enough of that during and after the concerts from the audience (although shitty quality but who cares?) So many of us so depressed through all of the pandemic and isolation and missing the tour. I don’t want to go to the tour. It’s not worth the risk for me and my family. I know there’s lots of thoughts and opinions on this but that’s a different thread. I was so happy to see and hear Mike on the Instagram stories. I miss him. I hope to see more stories like this. Oakland Coffee is good and the Father of All Dark Roast is the missing FOAM representation from the set lists 😆 If Green Day ever checks out this board: more Instagram stories please like the ones Mike just posted! I don’t care if it’s Oakland Coffee stuff if that’s what’s on your mind and you love it that’s what should be posted ❤️ not everyone is a coffee drinker but I am ❤️ everyone here is a GD fan and everyone loves Mike, right? When you have to drive past downtown for something and you see the stadium where Green Day will be playing and get incredibly giddy and excited and keep glancing at it until it's out of view. I was literally talking to myself going "That's where Green Day is going to playyyy! I'm going to see Green Day there!! Green Day is going to be here soon!" It was a full on fangirl moment for sure. Good thing I was by myself.

So this is random but does it ever annoy you when Billie changes the words to a song instead of singing it live? In Columbus he didn't sing/scream "Waking up this time to smash the silence with the brick of self control" during She, which is a song that I've really been into lately. He screamed something "inspirational," I can't really remember what. I was just like... It's not a big deal but I feel like after a lot of people see them for the first time, they always remark about how much he draws out songs with random breakdowns, hey-ohs, speeches, having fans sing, etc. I get it's all part of the show but this is the first time where it's ever really mattered enough for me to think about it. I feel like there's definitely less of that this tour though. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I was just watching the third Oakland Coffee behind the scenes video and I thought about Mike a lot during it. He is super sweet and super awesome and super rad. It feels like he’s going through his own behind the scenes stuff and is keeping himself under wraps more than usual. Mike is amazing and I miss him lots even though he actually is on social media. For this I am grateful. I am an Instagram mega fan. But yeah it seems he only posts when he’s selling or promoting non-green day stuff or playing with filters or gifs. I miss him and when he lets his sweet crazy personality show a bit more. He is a diamond treasure. Lead bass player and best friend ❤️ kinda hidden under wraps right now Tré is shining out (a lot!) I feel like we can feel it and it makes me so happy! Knowing the connection with crazy GD fans is important and how special it is and how lucky and magic the band is. Not even gonna talk about how much I miss the BJA and Longshot Instagram accounts… although I just did… I miss those posts a lot! But yeah. Mike is worth a lot more than just being a promo machine. I hope he knows that. We love him lots! Hope he’s feeling ok in spite of what’s been going on ❤️ I just watched the videos on IG… I was so excited I saw there were like five and he did them himself they weren’t like re-posts of live shots or concert footage so evennnnn though the posts were coffee heavy I am happy it was him and that part was very good ❤️ I’m smiling right now ❤️ and also now I want some Oakland Coffee… Right nowwwww… What else could he post alone from a hotel room? Lots I guess but I’ll take this ❤️ it was still lots of fun and great to see Mike! ❤️

A statewide mask mandate is back in effect on Monday and I'm wondering how that will affect the concert. I hope it still happens, just with masks required. That would honestly be ideal.

He probably uses that as a crutch when he forgets the lyrics. I'm always disappointed when he says words where there should be a scream. I love his screams and it makes me sad when he omits them.

I think it's splitting hairs when comparing FOAM, the Trilogy and LIFL. All broadly similar songs with similar themes, differences for sure but they have way more in common with each other than say RevRad. Either way, I think it'll either be another political record or another party record. Unfortunately can't see them branching out much further than that.

Well there are similarities, of course there are, but I think they are quite different from each other and as I have to wait until June 2022 to see them and haven't seen them since February 2017 I am delighted by any little scraps, I think these are great, long may they continue!

Yeah, all the on stage concert stuff and crowd stuff looks the same. It's what happens off stage that is unique and interesting. I don't know why they're even calling these bts videos if 90% of it is just generic concert footage. How do they not get that what we want is that off the cuff Green Day being Green Day and fucking around being goofballs with each other stuff?

I have tour t-shirts from 2009, 2010, 2017 and a Network one from 2020 and obviously the 2009 ones are beginning to show signs of wear I would say they are good quality. I think they are all Gildan, would need to check, certainly most of them are. The Network one is really lovely, very nice fit and a winter white, nice change from black.

They should actually record the next album live to tape like they’ve been talking about doing forever.

You've got to be kidding. Mask wearing for mitigation of COVID spread is now one of the most well-studied and data proven medical topics out there since the pandemic started. I could list 10 solid studies right here, and that would only be the beginning. Where are you getting your information on this? As far as your other point, if you look at graphs, spikes consistently occur when people loosen up and stop wearing masks, then go down again when everyone realizes there's an uptick and starts wearing them again. The spike you're speaking of would have been much worse without masks.
