I would say the one thing I would bet on is we won’t guess what they do next. They usually come up with something unexpected eg MM2020MK 2 but I will be ready for whatever it is.

Wow. I think we know who's the winner of "Who wore it better". That guy can't compete at all. What a poser. Ha ha! Anyway, I found these pictures of Billie holding what appears to be orange juice in one hand and beer in the other and it's very funny to me for some reason. Does not sound like a great combination, especially right before a show (looks like GMA 2009). Edit: Okay so apparently beer and orange juice is a thing, but I guess Billie is just letting them combine after drinking them rather than making a mixed drink beforehand because he's weird. Still sounds like a gross drink to me, but I hate beer so I guess I'm biased.

If they play the new songs, there will be fewer reasons to hate hella mega. It seems to me that from the beginning, the tour was designed for playing the hits and it didn't seem the way FOAM was received played much of a role in it, but hopefully, if there's another album, they'll play it.

Can confirm. The first time Billie came out on those stairs and squealed as he let the glitter (aka drugs) out of his pocket it was like... I don't know how to explain it. So glad I got to see it (lost my job for taking off to NYC too even though it was a mix up over holiday days!)

GMA was super early in the morning for them so they must have had OJ and breakfast stuff out for them. Of course a rock star would mix that with a beer to get going. Breakfast of champions 😄

i expect 2 options 1) 2022 could be a "normal" year with the usual touring stuff, they will still do the hellamega tour, but with an updated touring route foam wasnt well received and didnt get peoples attention (mainly talking for germany), so they could use their time now and write a new LP, release it in 2022 to support the hellamega tour 2) 2022 could be a "normal" year with the usual touring stuff, they will still do the hellamega tour, but with an updated touring route they dont use their "free" time now, maybe do another song or EP to support the 2022 touring, 2022 they will be touring, and after the tour they could write another LP and release it sometime in 2023 ( 3) its green day, maybe they come around with a triple lp again or maybe they dont feel the need to do new music anytime soon, who knows)

We've talked a lot about what style we would expect (or more often: like to have) for the next album, but what do you guys think might be a likely time-frame? I mean right now they haven't even had a chance to tour for FOAM, so I would have thought a new album would first be likely late 2022/2023 at the earliest, no?

Oh the dilemma! I am totally arachnophobia (still trying to forgive The Network for a brilliant song called Taran....... shudder) but Billie needs to be saved. Is it wrong to scream for hubby to save Billie? He’s my usual spider killer 😁

I think the scenario precludes going around. The question is "would you go through this". My answer is absolutely! A world without Billie would be so much worse than being temporarily covered in sticky web and spiders. Plus, he would probably be grateful and remember me for the rest of his life if I saved it. Maybe I could befriend him and the rest of the boys and see GD shows for free from the best spot.

I'm pretty sure the CD and vinyl will be sold in stores, because No Fun Mondays and the Insomniac 25th Anniversary vinyl were both at first sold online but then were also sold in stores.

Finally got the opportunity to listen the remaster on vynil. They adressed the huge low end of the original and turned it down a bit. It feels like the voice and part of the snare is less prominent too, but is probably due more of the original mix than the remaster itself. Probably they will release a remix in 25 years more (?) At least is a different listening experiencie and that's all that matters to me. Panic Song sounds amazing.

I am truly ecstatic to eat my words on this one, I didn't think they were gonna make it on time! just got my shipping confirmation now too. Cool!

I am so envious @Slave To The Network I feel like he just blew the roof off when he appeared, even the pretty poor quality recording I have sounds like he ramped up the whole thing, I so wish I’d seen and will never get over it not being recorded!!!

Yeah but "official" was a fan thing. And he was already the 4th member on stage (Billie would already say "we're Green Day" including all of them at shows), he'd played guitar with them for over a decade and even appeared in a couple of music videos and interviews previous to the trilogy so he could already be described as that. Billie did give him his props there since he played on the album as a member of the band, but he was still 4th and not 1st 2nd or 3rd y'know. And I think they all chose to handle it in a low key way. Fans made it out to be a bigger thing than it was is what I'm saying.

The Network Store says the vinyl will be released April 16th (same date as the CD). Considering these were on pre-order since December, I don't see why they would have an issue, especially without telling the consumer.

Hearing from a few people who are related to the band and guessing that this coronavirus thing will be much more in control by next year. That's why I needed to say 'probably'. Of course nobody knows when the coronavirus will end. So let's say this is just a fair estimation at the moment.

Oh, I'd LOVE to see a Network show. That would be amazing and completely novel. I still haven't seen Foxies either, so that's a bucket list thing (if they'll play again [pleeeeeaaaase!!]). I was so lucky to see The Longshot when I did.

It's understandable to miss him being on Instagram but it doesn't mean he's "given up" or anything that serious. He's never been that into social media and not wanting to be on it is a valid choice. Up until a few years ago this was the norm for Billie (he's only had his own social media accounts since 2011 - and hasn't always been active on them) and it's still normal that not everyone has them, celebrities included. It's not something he's doing against us, whether you feel like being on social media is a good thing for you or not is a personal thing. Also it might not even be permanent. Maybe at some point he'll feel like coming back. It's probably not enjoyable to have people harassig him about Joey on there so makes sense that he doesn't right now.

I'm actually listening to Nimrod right now and I just love the silly and witty lyrics they had. "Don't pat yourself on the back you might break your spine". Loved the lyrics on Insomniac too. I just really miss that in their music. Lyrically they have been struggling but Billie is a brilliant songwriter.
