  1. As someone who did see Billie play St. Jimmy in person, I can say that it was fucking incredible. I was just entranced! When he stepped up right in front of me at the end and was so close I could have reached out and touched him, I was in a state of complete and utter awe. It's so hard to believe that was 10 years ago! šŸ˜

  2. Yeah but "official" was a fan thing. And he was already the 4th member on stage (Billie would already say "we're Green Day" including all of them at shows), he'd played guitar with them for over a decade and even appeared in a couple of music videos and interviews previous to the trilogy so he could already be described as that. Billie did give him his props there since he played on the album as a member of the band, but he was still 4th and not 1st 2nd or 3rd y'know. And I think they all chose to handle it in a low key way. Fans made it out to be a bigger thing than it was is what I'm saying.

  3. Sure, I just need protective clothes and a flamethrower! Or I could just go around it...

  4. Itā€™s always funny to see people who work with the band interacting with posts that look like early 2010s fangirl content

  6. I watched Broadway Idiot for the first time last night. I've seen pictures of Billie playing St. Jimmy, but seeing his actual performance is just šŸ˜ So sexy. Wish I could've seen it in person!

  7. It was @thatbillie on instagram. I believe thatā€™s a fan account, even though I have no idea where some of those photos came from. If me stepping out of my comfort zone could be enough to save someoneā€™s life, I would have to - as unpleasant as running through spider webs would be, itā€™s overall less of a cost than a life.

  8. Finally got the opportunity to listen the remaster on vynil. They adressed the huge low end of the original and turned it down a bit. It feels like the voice and part of the snare is less prominent too, but is probably due more of the original mix than the remaster itself. Probably they will release a remix in 25 years more (?) At least is a different listening experiencie and that's all that matters to me. Panic Song sounds amazing.

  10. I am so envious @Slave To The Network I feel like he just blew the roof off when he appeared, even the pretty poor quality recording I have sounds like he ramped up the whole thing, I so wish Iā€™d seen and will never get over it not being recorded!!!

  14. His humbleness and shyness make him way more attractive than other people. The fact that he's so mild mannered and thoughtful when interacting with people in a non-concert setting is very sweet. It's a powerful contrast to his overwhelming charisma and commanding energy when he's on stage. I agree with @jengd that it's almost like he's two Billies in one, and each version is just as wonderful in its own way. Who in their right mind can not be completely charmed by that sweet face?
