Depends if it's the deceased person saying "Good riddance to you all!" or if it's the attendees wishing good riddance to the deceased Makes all the difference in how satisfying and appropriate it is.3 points

I heard Walking Contradiction in a bathroom. Also to add to that, when I first heard the song, I thought one of the lyrics was "I shit so deep you can't run away", I have no idea how someone could do that but none the less I started laughing in the bathroom and everyone started staring at me thinking I was crazy.1 point

Yeah, I remember thinking before the Belfast show: 'Ok, if you get on stage, just ASK Billie nicely if you can give him a hug.' But then when I actually did get on stage, this wave of adrenaline just took over and because he was so smiley and said 'Hi!' in such an excited voice when I got up there, I just sort of lunged towards him and gave him a massive squeeze. I just remember him saying 'Oh, ok!' in response, probably because I didn't actually say anything ...pfft, as if he was expecting me to formulate some sort of coherent sentence.1 point

Larry Livermore answered some questions on Punknews.org and a couple of them involve Green Day I realize Tre is awfully busy these days, but are there any plans for the Lookouts? For example, might you release the B-sides from the IV recording sessions (such as your cover of "House of the Rising Sun")? You were right when you said that the Lookouts were really hitting their stride by the IV EP, so it would be great to hear any material that still exists. Larry: Yeah, we talk about a Lookouts reunion every couple years, but nothing ever seems to come of it. Tre's actually pretty into it, or at least he's said so several times, but Kain lives in Hawaii, and hasn't been involved that much in music for a while that I know of. We'd like to re-release all the Lookouts material from Spy Rock Road on, including the 7"s and the compilation tracks, but it seems to be one of those things that maybe will happen one day, or maybe not. But the outtakes from the IV sessions that haven't already been mixed and mastered are probably lost now, because they were on analog tape that may no longer be salvageable, if in fact anybody even knows exactly where it is. Interesting trivia point, though: the IV sessions in 1990 were the first time Billie Joe and Tre ever played music together (as some of you may not know, Billie played guitar and sang backup on three of the songs, plus a couple other songs that later appeared on compilations). I recently reminded Billie of that and he was all arguing "No it wasn't!" but eventually he had to admit I was right Why weren't Tre's parents freaked out that a guy pushing 40 wanted to start a band with a 12 year old? Were you actually friends with his parents before hand? Larry: Tre's parents were my closest neighbors on the mountain, only a mile down the road, and yes, I'd known them ever since Tre was a little kid. Well, an even littler kid. I think he was 8 or 9 when I first met him.1 point
