I don't get why people are debating if the album tittle is any good. Save your energy if the songs are any good instead :)

Opinions are like assholes, they can be repulsive & everyone has one.

Just my opinion though.

Revolution Radio is a fucking bad ass name. I love it. Although, I did think "Radio Revolution" would sound better, but I'm guessing Revolution Radio is a song on the album, and the words are that way round for a reason, like a rhyme. I'm so excited for this album!!

Revolution Radio is reminiscent of a 21stCB track title. Maybe a bit corny, but whatever it works. I'd like to wear it as a shirt.

I just hope the title doesn't set the bar too high and it ends up becoming a watered down version of its predecessors.

They're not exactly a political punk band by definition - they have very little in common with Anti-Flag or Circle Jerks thats for sure lol
making a couple songs commenting on the state of the world does not make you a political punk band genre-wise.

SO to wrap up: cool name, ambitious title, hopefully people don't falsely label the album like they did in 2005.

Rev Rad was on the setlist Billie put on Instagram.

It's a general assumption at this point. Billie even posted a pic on instagram that showed a setlist at band rehearsal and "Rev rad" was written on the board

Yeah, DUH, I mean the one in 2005 she mentioned. The one that was "falsely labeled" :D

How many of the "tracklists" will be totally in accurate then?

I have seen one that includes Olivia as a bonus track ft the SF Orchestra, and that excites me massively...

Not too huge on any of the other titles tho. We will see.

I don't know why we think October 7th will be the release date for the album.

it's from here. It's not an official announcement, but stuff like dates and stuff gets accidentally leaked all the time.

I would assume American Idiot.

This one I saw seems promising...

1-Bang Bang [1st single]
2 - Bouncing Off The Wall
3 - Forever Now (That's it?)
4 - Ordinary World
5-Outlaws
6-Revolution Radio [2nd single]
7 - Say Goodbye
8 - Somewhere Now
9 - Still Breathing
10 - Too Dumb To Die
11 - Troubled Times
12-Youngblood [3rd single]
13 - Olivia feat. SF Academy Orchestra *Hidden Track*
14 - Devil's Kind (*Bonus Track* - Japan Deluxe Edition)

Really not sure. Too Dumb To Die & Troubled Times are both lyrics from Carpe Diem and 99 Revolutions so could easily either be the classic BJ reusing or someone bullshitting.

American Idiot came in 2004 though. Maybe she made a typo :) But how was it falsely labeled? sorry for being off-topic

Whilst I appreciate the kind smiley face on the end of that, I mean, ffs, it was obviously American Idiot.

American Idiot was NOT a political punk album, and it certainly didn't make them a political punk band (regardless of how many articles referred to them as such).

So, given the name Revolution Radio, it will be easy for magazines and stuff to play up the whole thing when it probably won't be.

[edit] no I mean 2005 - because while the album itself dropped in 2004, every teenie bopper magazine and website continued to churn out half-researched articles through until. 2006. I would know because I was one of the teenie boppers that bought them :P
