They did Jonathan Ross for 21CB, they played East Jesus Nowhere. Norton is the current equivalent of that, so hopefully it's not too far fetched an idea! He hashtagged it with #matikasolo so I guess it doesn't have anything to do with Green Day. I don't think Jeff gets solos on Green Day seeing as he's not an official member?
