Seems odd.  I know Adi is from Minnesota, but why would they play a burger joint.  And they have them playing for 6 hours.  I'm saying hoax until proven otherwise

Someone's made a Facebook event for it, anyone know if it's legit?

It is not real.

I have seen so many of these on Facebook. It has been sort of a trend. I think the most popular one I have seen is "Sum 41 @ Sonic". Just a lot of bands playing in awkward places. I have a Facebook friend who RSVP's to them all the time.

Here is an example of some more

Radiohead at radioshack

System of a down at P.F. Changs

Ice -t, Ice Cube and vanilla ice at Jeremiah's Italian ice.

It all started with Limp Bizkit at Sunoco.

I can actually see Limp Bizkit playing at a gas station. Fred Durst knows his demographic.

Memories of the small gigs performing new trilogy songs - they looked like such fun;)

This is like a new kind of internet trend, where they make fake events on facebook (the more ridiculous the better). I've seen ones about Green Day a lot, including ones in my area :( it's a big tease!

How about Green Day in Green Bay at the Green Mill restaurant.

No, Chicago.  But Hubby grew up in Milwaukee and is a huge Packer fan.  So we visit Wisconsin a lot.

My favorite of the new fake news is the so and so explains why he or she is moving to some small ass town like I saw "Tom Cruise explains why he's relocating to the Greenspoint area of Houston"

Oh yeah, there was also "Samuel L Jackson explains why he's moving to Birmingham", that was good (the one here, not the US Birmingham).

I've never seen these fake sites before, but they are pretty funny.  I wonder how many people actually fall for it.
