They just released beery three-chord singalong of a tune called “If There Was Ever a Time,” with 100% of proceeds benefitting 924 Gilman, an East Bay all-ages nonprofit punk venue where both Rancid and Green Day got their starts. Great footage of pre-sweet children Billie & Mike playing in a backyard. Billie singing only, Mike on guitar with afew friends I think Raj and possibly James Washburn. But the bar's address is wrong on the official web site of the movie. The wrong one was too far away from my job. The real address is less of 30 minutes away. Yes, it's a shame the movie is not getting any release outside the USA, with the exception of Montreal in Canada. The movie talks about some many bands who are well-known worldwide. I hope it gets one day a worldwide release because there's no reason why fans from around the world can't see the movie on a big screen. By the way, I just realized that the movie will be shown in my hometown thanks to Fantasia Film Festival, which is owned by one of my coworkers' best friend.
