California? new Green Day side project?

Recommended Posts

Guest

"A band called California with members of Jawbreaker and Green Day is purposefully or otherwise totally immune to search engines, but alluring nonetheless. The mysterious band plays the Hemlock Tavern with Oakland pop-punkers Wet Spots and C’est Dommage, an SF quartet that worships at the altar of Pavement and Low. Tickets are only available at the door, so show up early!"

Wet Spots w/ California at the Hemlock Tavern

Saturday, March 29

9pm

Hemlock Tavern (1131 Polk Street, San Francisco, CA)

$6

the concert is also scheduled on Hemlock Tavern's site, and it confirms, "members of Jawbreaker and Green Day"

It is Jason Whites band. They played at Bottom of the Hill on March 18th. "California featuring Jason White of Pinhead Gunpowder and touring member of Green Day"

Maybe just Tré or Mike, since they both played a few gigs with other bands recently.

Any word on which member of Jawbreaker is in this "supergroup"? :P

I appear to have stumbled away from GDC and into one of Ceadog's wet dreams.

Can't wait for Hannah to wake up, see this thread, freak out, have a sudden realisation, see this post, and then send me angry texts for laughing at her :D

Matt.

Just in case no one knew already, because I don't think it's been posted, but it's Jason White's band

Oooh good. He's an excellent drummer. Big fan of his post-Jawbreaker stuff with J Church.
