Bitch yeah. Recorded in Los Angeles, in 1997. This album is 50 minutes of boss. Haushinka and Uptight and sick songs like those. Fuck Good Riddance, Most of you probably think that's the last song on the album, but let me remind you about that one song that most people probably forget about, or maybe never even heard cause you just turn off the album when Good Riddance comes on, cause that song is so 1998. Prosthetic Head, does that ring a bell? I can play it on bass. It's a pretty good song. It even had it's own promotional single.
copy and paste from wikipedia
"Nimrod debuted at number ten on the Billboard 200, selling 81,000 copies in its first week of release"
That's pretty good for an album most people never heard about.
Did you also know the Japanese release has 19 tracks- with Desensitized as the last song after Prosthetic Head? And the Australian release has 22 tracks, man those people are missing out when they turn off their CD player when Good Riddance comes on.
3 songs on this album have violin. Two are obvious, the third one is Last Ride In, I bet a lot of you forget that one too.
So wish this badass record a happy birthday, and I challange you to make a playlist of the album and its Australian bonus tracks and listen to it in its full 22-track entirety today. YOLO, right? Fuck yeah.
