If your in London tickets are on sale now

http://raindancefestival.org/films-2014/like-sunday-like-rain/

ha, gotta love this part from the link you shared...

"Let’s address the elephant in the room. Can Billy-Joe Armstrong, frontman of ‘Green Day’, act?

Yes, yes he can.

Now that’s out of the way, it would be a massive disservice to ‘Like Sunday, Like Rain’ to define it purely as the feature debut of the aforementioned punk rocker."

 I hope to see this film some day, yes, to see Billie Joe but also for the story the film tells.

He must have an important role on this :runaround: I'm so nervous since the release date is just a few months away and I don't know when I'll be able to watch it.

It would be cool if someone, on an interview, would ask him why he decided to do this. :ninja:

Looked up their official programme, but couldn´t find the movie anywhere in their schedule. Does it have an alternative title, maybe...?

Yes, I cannot find the movie either. As far as I know it doesn't have another title. Maybe someone else here has an answer for this question? Anyone?

I edited the list as I had the date wrong for Malaga Film Festival. Also added a new date for CBGB in NYC. So here is an updated list. Also read via Elem Clem's twitter that it's suppose to be screened at a Film Fest in Long Island?

• Oldenburg International Film Festival (Germany) Sept 10-14, 2014 http://www.filmfest-oldenburg.de/en/news/

• Raindance Film Festival (London) Sept 24-Oct 5, 2014 http://www.raindance.org/

• Mill Valley Film Fest (California) Oct 2-12, 2014 at Christiopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center at Sequoia in Mill Valley and other venues throughout Marin County. http://www.mvff.com/

• CBGB Music & Film Festival (Manhattan, N) Oct. 8th - 12th, 2014 http://cbgbfestival.squarespace.com/film-lineup/

• Hamptons International Film Festival (New York) Oct 9-13, 2014 http://hamptonsfilmfest.org/

• Napa Valley Film Festival (California) November 12th-16th in Napa, California.

• Bermuda International Film Festival (Bermuda) Mar 20-26, 2015 http://www.biff.bm/

Local rock star Billie Joe Armstrong is the lead singer-songwriter-guitarist of five-time Grammy Award-and two-time Tony Award-winning punk band GREEN DAY, one of the world’s best-selling groups of all time. After releasing successful albums Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning, Green Day conquered Broadway with the musical version of their rock opera album American Idiot. Fleshing out his diverse resume, Armstrong makes a favorable impression as a featured player in the new independent film Like Sunday, Like Rain.

I wonder if he took this photo for movie promotion or something else? Looks awfully interview-y

They say in an article he makes a "favorable impression" on the film and I don't know what that is, yet, but I hope people won't be too hard on him! His journey on acting may has just begun? But you better not be neglecting the music, Billie Joe. Millions depend on you and the band (I mean it)

And he's going to be at the premiere?? OMG! EVEN BETTER! :woot:

Shout out to cast and crew for 'Like Sunday, Like Rain', @itsmeleighton Billy Joel Armstrong. Endearing film #RDFF @Raindance

When I wasn't seeing any tweets about Billie Joe's role, I asked this woman about Billie Joe's role...

via Kat Kourbeti @blackbirdwords

@GDLoT He was basically cut out for it. It's a small but very to-the-point role, one that he was perfect for from the beginning.

I said I would like to see it & thanked her and then she replied.... :runaround::dance::wub:
Kat Kourbeti ‏@blackbirdwords

@GDLoT not a problem. I hear the film's just secured a US theatrical release, so you probably might! :)
