Last year Metallica's set got cut short because of a last minute curfew imposed by the state government.

Just Perth. It won't happen again though because AJ was so pissed about it.

I am seriously considering going. :runaround: I can definitely afford the ticket for the festival, but the plane ticket may be an issue. I'll have to wait and see about that.

So do you think AJ asking what is the reason for the sharp increase in sales is because everyone realised it will be the last for Green Day here for who knows how long?? ;)

Im kind of going by accident. I live in the US and Since 2012 my family has been planning a trip to WA, and when dates were announced, Perths date just happened to be right in the middle of our vacation, 20 miles away from where we'll be! So of course I got tickets. Wonder if there'll be any other americans.. see you guys there!

Timetables haven't been released just yet, so we don't know when Green Day are meant to start yet, the festival itself starts at 11am and ends at 10pm (could be different in different cities though). However we do know they will be last performing on the main stage and that they have roughly a 2 hour 45 minute set (unless it has been changed). So I would say their start time will be 7:15pm local time. However this may change in each city depending on sound restrictions.

So has the Perth venue changed or is AJ trying to change it - I am a little confused.
