My apologies if this thread has already been done, but I was watching the Warning EPK video that I have, and when they flash over a sheet of paper with song titles on it, there are two songs I have never heard of: Sleepyhead and Wasteaway. There's also a third title underneath Sleepyhead that I can't quite make out (something bomb?)

Anyways the list can be seen at the 15:30 mark on this video.

I also think it's neat to see that Waiting was once "Waiting A Long Time."

My guess is that Wasteaway became Castaway, or really long shot "Oh Love" (Waste away, tonight!) and maybe Sleepyhead became Dreamcatcher? I don't know. Just speculating. It may just have been one of the thousands of Green Day songs that will never see the light of day.

Not all that threadworthy, but just something I wanted to point out.

Thoughts? Also, this whole video is hilarious.

Wasteaway is rumored to be Walk Away from what I've heard. Sleepyhead, I don't know. And the third is Clusterbomb which is rumored to be what is now Letterbomb

No it's not, you're completely misunderstanding.

Can we please pick a thread to direct OP to and close this? It seems every time we have a thread about unreleased songs a whole new load of misinformation gets out and everyone gets confused.

I don't really think Waste Away became Castaway, because if I saw right, they were both on the list. Of course, the two could have been incorporated into what is now Castaway

Can anybody find me an article or quote for Wonderful? Thanks

Yes, but probably not if they were separate songs on different ends of the list. Wasteaway could've been part 2 of Castaway, maybe like a reprise or maybe they got into the rock opera thing earlier. Who knows. Castaway goes out into the world eager and excited, but gets dumped, gets into drugs, out on the streets, and becomes Wasteaway. There's definitely room for a story there! :P

Thanks! I had these on my ipod, but it's too much on the other side of the couch for me to get :P And while I was editing stuff, it deleted all my bolds and underlines and shit and it really fucking pissed me off

Actually we know that either Alison or 19NBD weren't released cause Billie couldn't get the vocals right in the studio. Don't remember which one or where I heard it, but I think it was Alison.

I thought it was 19th. But it doesn't matter, because we'll probably never ever hear these :P

No problem. Sorry I don't remember where I got the info from, it was probably on GDA somewhere, maybe the fact section if you're interested.

I had fun trying to figure out the lyrics for Second Time Around :D I'm not a native speaker, so they don't make much sense, but that's what I hear:
