Hey everyone....last week I posted an article I found about Green Day's best singles, I can't find the same post so I'm making a new one...This time they released a short video showing Green Day's best non-singles. Take a look:

No one knows and Walking Alone are two of my least favorites off Kerplunk and Nimrod respectively. Other than that, I mostly agree Letterbomb would have been my No 1 probably.

Yeah, why not? It has a kickass solo, it has a simple but catchy rhythm, it represents very well the vibe of ¡DOS!

I think Makeout Party deserves to be at least on a top 10 GD list.

That list was interesting, I mean we have to agree it is hard to do a top ten NON-single list just because of the amount of good Green Day songs there are. We would be like, "Oh that song goes here, but wait, what about this song?"

 

But goodness there are a lot better songs than Whatsername. Letterbomb? Homecoming? and also no 21st Century Breakdown songs? okay ._.

To me, there is a difference between "best songs" and "favorite songs". Favorite songs are the ones that might grab your attention when you first hear them, but you can't listen to them over and over without going insane. Favorites change all the time. What I call the "best" songs are the songs where I think Green Day's writing is at its finest, and I usually don't get sick of these songs. Some of those songs, in my opinion, are Rusty James, ¡Viva la Gloria!, and One for the Razorbacks. (There are more, but those are my top three).

I don't think we should pick songs off Dos and Tre for top ten non-singles lists. I'm pretty confident that they are going to release more singles for the trilogy. We don't necessarily know which ones so I don't believe it's fair to pick and choose top non-singles when we don't know what the real ones will be.
