A Broadway Idiot documentary film will be made, which follows the musical American Idiot’s journey to Broadway, and will have it's World Premiere at this year’s film festival.

I read about this a while ago in some magazine. It sounds very exciting and I'm kinda hoping it will include a video of the whole performance (just so I can relive this awesome fantastic journey) but I doubt it as the tour continues. Looking forward to seeing this and get an insight into how the musical came together.

Like everyone else, I hope the DVD will include a full performance with Billie as St. Jimmy. I would love to be able to watch the show whenever I want, and to be able to see St. Billie again would be wonderful. 

 

The documentary looks really interesting. I love the Donald Trump quote!  :lol: Oh Billie. 

 

I love how generous Green Day is to their fans! Three albums and two documentaries all in a span of six months! Amazing!

it looks pretty fucking awesome!! I guess they only mention Billie Joe and not Green Day because he was the one who played St.Jimmy role...but i would like it to be "the Green Day process" .. anyways it looks great and i want to see his performance too  :shy:

I love the trailer!!  I love how the trailer ends as soon as they start to talk about Billie Joe playing St. Jimmy!!  The suspense!!

 

I've been waiting for something like this ever since seeing American Idiot on Broadway.

 

I really hope this is released on DVD for all of us to enjoy.  I'd really love to see it on the big screen but I'd settle for a DVD.   :happy:
