Apparently, the previous topic died off sometime in 2011 and was archived. So, I reintroduce it now.

If you have not heard the double album The Afterman, stop everything you are doing and go listen. I adore almost all of this band's work, but I admit I think Year of the Black Rainbow was a weak point in their career, but holy shit did they come back with a vengeance.

I really can't express how much I adore these albums, please someone come and discuss this masterpiece with me. :)

I have all of their older albums (up till around 2009) , but for some reason I haven't looked into any of their stuff in the last couple of years.
I shall download and report back, Trotsky my old darling.

I am a fan of CaC. I like their earlier stuff a lot and a few songs on Year of the Black Rainbow so maybe I should check their newest album out.

I remember Claudio saying in an interview once that Iron Maiden was the biggest influence on his music, he must have been fucking thrilled to have opened for them.

The new album is alright I guess. I don't know, something about it just doesn't catch me. I like the song The Afterman and it kind of sounds like Modest Mouse's Float On at the end. Mothers of Men is a cool song too.
