I can't wait to see the conclusion of YBC. Just because it's the fact that we're seeing the last two videos (Miss Missing You and Save Rock and Roll) and that I can't wait to see Elton John and dfjghdfkjghj excitement and feels everywhere

:runaround:

It definitely grows on you! I remember thinking it was mediocre at first but I love it so much now. Hearing the songs live definitely helps as well. Death Valley was brilliant live.

Well this was pretty cool

I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE THAT WHEN I GO. Holy crap.

Fall Out Boy had a drum-off to Slayer and Jay-Z

Fall Out Boy are currently on their Monumentour with Paramore and New Politics. The band obviously have some cool things in store for fans—we’ve already seen them cover Queen’s “We Are The Champions.” Below, you can watch Patrick Stump and Andy Hurley having a massive drum-off to the tune of Slayer and Jay-Z.

So far, there’s video of the band performing the drum-off at the Mansfield, Massachusetts date, as well as the Hartford, Connecticut one. But it looks like the band are doing it every night.

I'm so disappointed about that song, it was terrible. They put in like no effort for that. At least when they parodied Lady Gaga and Panic the songs turned out funny =/

Quick question about their recent shows. How much of it is made up of new songs and how much is old songs. I am likely to see them at Soundwave but I really didn't like their new album.

I saw them in October and they really didn't play many new songs. I can think of 4 or 5 they ended up playing? Most of it was pre-folie a deux stuff

But now people are saying they might have new songs later this year? So if they do have a new album coming out later this year or next year then they might try out some of that stuff at Soundwave

Eh, I was kind of expecting more from Centuries. Maybe it'll grow on me, but I don't think it's their best.

Best FOB album is Under the Cork Tree. It's been a slow decline since then.

centuries is ok but i'm sure it'll grow on me. i'm looking forward to the new album since fall out boy's evolutions from album to album have always been pretty interesting (although i prefer their earlier ones).

eh it's growing on me. I didn't hate it the first listen but I didn't love it either. Now I've listened to it a couple times though, I like it. The "you will remember be" part feels a little repetitive though

Thanks for the terrific input and the 2 and a half year old article that is basically irrelevant now!

I like Centuries a lot. It feels like a natural progression, and I don't feel like the pop-production is too overdone. It's a solid song and I hope the album is as good.

I don't really like the Hey-ey-ey-ey-ey-ahs, but I like everything else about the song. Kind of bummed they couldn't have maybe previewed this at, say, the last two Monumentour tour dates ;) (especially since Lolo was on tour with them)

I really love the current video, woohoo for Chicago, especially all the public transportation love
