Why are Kerplunk and Smoothed Out Slappy Hours on the site of Epitaph Records?

Because every other website says that those albums were both from Lookout! :P .

I was wondering this too! I just thought that maybe cause' I got the mastered version of Slappy that they changed the label name.

I have no idea about Kerplunk! though :/

Huh, interesting. I actually thought that these records were on Reprise after the band pulled out from Lookout. However, this forum is filled with people who claim to have superior knowledge on matters such as these, so I'm just gonna leave it to one of those guys to enlighten us :)

The reason for this is because its the label they used to release these albums in Europe. If you look on the side at release date it says "EU Rel. Date: 08/24/1997" way after the albums were originally released. Even wikipedia says these albums were released on the label.

For questions like these though they can go in the Q&A thread pinned at the top :)
