Sorry for this rant again, and please check facts before you judge.
Thanks for your statement! But how do you judge the world? By visiting every country yourself to find out whether news are true or not? What are your sources of truth and news?
The news in Germany - not yellow press, but news that I would call serious - tell us, that showing the rainbow flag is forbidden, kissing and holding hands in public is forbidden. Propaganda (whatever this means) is forbidden, public appearance (like parties, demos etc) is forbidden ("for the next 100 years" the news said). Filmed documents show that gays, who protested againts the law, were beaten, and police arrested the gays, not the attackers. Well, yes, it could all be manipulated material. But how then can I find out the truth?
Whom do you believe? And whom do I believe? You say we can´t trust mass media. This is probably right. But then - were do you get your information that this law is not against gay people. Isn´t it a matter of who´s propaganda works better...?
And when a Russian politician states that being gay is a matter of education I can´t help but believe that some people really miss the point...
And I want to make clear that it´s not my intention to blame or insult the Russian people generally. So I am sorry when I didn´t find the right words to express my thoughts and feelings and you felt hurt. It´s the politics that I blame. And I can only judge it by what I know from the news, because I don´t know the exact wording of the law.
