I don't know if there are a topic about them. I don't know if many of you know them.

This is a current English band who plays old school rock'n'roll.

I've seen them live 5 times (including 4 for the sole year 2010). In live, they'reas energic as Green Day.

This is The Princess & The Frog, from their first album, released in 2008.

This is Where Da Money Go ?, from their third album, The Savage Heart, released in 2012.

YES YES YES! Someone knows them!  :bunny:

I love them ever since I saw them live in 2009, right in my hometown (which is so rare), at a really cool Rock n' Roll fest (and my dad was part of the organisation)   :D  It was one of the greatest shows I've been to! I had soooo much fun and danced my ass off... I wish I could see them more times.

I still haven't heard the third album! Gotta go listen to it! Sure thing... That song sounds awesome.

Brilliant band. Finally, some taste on this site.

They were supposed to play in my home town last year but the venue got flooded so it got called off.  Pain in the arse.

Since they are from England, I bet they will be coming back! Don't miss an opportunity to see them!  :D

Also, can you guys recommend any other current bands that have this garage rock sound, for me to discover? I don't have many in my catalogue and I absolutely love it.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I love this video (and song)

Balllet & Rock n' Roll  hell yes!

Yeah, they'll be back.

As for recommendations, they're a pretty unique sound but these albums are similar, or at least fall under the grimy rock and roll banner, and the bands are still going strong:

- Reverend Horton Heat - Lucky 7

- The Living End - The Living End

- Brian Setzer - Ignition

For recommendations, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

Thank you both! I've already heard of The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, they were here a few years ago, but I didn't manage to see them =/

Those are great bands!!  :)

That's a great song. Everyone should listen to them, which is why I'm bumping this.

They've just announced a UK tour for this autumn - trying to work out exactly which show I'm gonna head to.

Yes, seems like no one knows them besides us three  :(

Do the shows sell out quickly in the UK?

I have no idea, having never seen them before, but their London show is at a 1500 capacity venue so probably wont sell out immediately (especially if this forum is a decent gauge of their popularity).

Oh well, I just hope you get to see them, their concert is one of the best I've seen, if not the best. I wish I could see them again, this time actually knowing the songs!  :P

Oh and try to meet them, they are so nice!

So sad, I'm even sadder because I'm not sure if I'll be able to catch any of these shows
