Sooo I searched and haven't found a topic like this yet.

If it exists already of course this can be closed.

I love 90s music.

Many of the songs remind me of my childhood. And before all of you go: "You aren't even a 90s kid you were like 6!"

True. But even being born in 1993 I can tell you, I remember some of those songs and I listened to them again in the 2000s so don't judge me! :)

So, who else loves the music of the 90s? The bad electronical music that is nostalgic though...♥

Or the sappy boybands? What's your favourite?

Right now I'm listening to this and I don't feel no shame! :)

Tbh the music of the '90s for me was all '50s music. We didn't have a TV and lived on a tiny island so all I had was a bunch of Jerry Lee Lewis CDs. So from the age of 2 I've had Lewis and Berry engraved into the back of my skull. Which I'm not complaining about.

As far as I can remember, that was the only musical mistake I made.

Well I turned 14 years old in 1990 so a good portion of my music life was in the 90's.

Big fan of Depeche Mode, but then got into a lot of industrial music like Ministry and Nine Inch Nails.

My ride to high school was two African American guys so all I listened to for my sophomore year was Public Enemy, NWA, and Dr. Dre so I went through a quick rap phase.

Jesus Jones "Right Here Right Now" was our Homecoming theme that year.

And then my senior year of high school a little album called "Dookie" came out and the rest is history....

Saw GD at Lollapalooza (even though I was only there to see my favorite band at the time, Smashing Pumpkins--Siamese Dream best CD ever) and then went to Woodstock 94 and saw the infamous mud fight.

My life hasn't been the same since.

One of my all time favorite bands is a huge 90's band, Third Eye Blind

The Ketchup Song

That one is from 2002 or 2003 though. ;)

But you are right, it brings back lots of memories!

Oh my god guys, GUYS!

I know barely anyone of you will know this but it is too awesome to keep it hidden.

In the 90s there used to be a famous (and ADORABLE) kid's show/movie with marionets called "Die Augsburger Puppenkiste." (Well it's way older but it got to me in the 90s at least)

The title song however is called "Eine Insel mit zwei Bergen". Now in the 90s there appeared a Electronical/Techno version of it and it's literally priceless!

Just listen to that computer blast out! Hah. <3 Trust me you'll love it. LISTEN TO IT! <3 The "instrumental" part, my god. <3

Here's the origina btw...it's way older though.

The moment you realize how weird the Barbie Girl song is :/

Read this and have your childhood ruined:

Hi Barbie
Hi Ken!
Do you wanna go for a ride?
Sure Ken!
Jump In...

I'm a barbie girl, in the barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic!
you can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation
Come on Barbie, let's go party!

I'm a barbie girl, in the barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic!
you can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation

I'm a blond bimbo girl, in the fantasy world
Dress me up, make it tight, I'm your dolly
You're my doll, rock'n'roll, feel the glamour in pink,
kiss me here, touch me there, hanky panky...
You can touch, you can play, if you say: "I'm always yours"

(uu-oooh-u)

I'm a barbie girl, in the barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic!
you can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation

Come on Barbie, let's go party!
(Ah-ah-ah-yeah)
Come on Barbie, let's go party!
(uu-oooh-u)
Come on Barbie, let's go party!
(Ah-ah-ah-yeah)
Come on Barbie, let's go party!
(uu-oooh-u)

Make me walk, make me talk, do whatever you please
I can act like a star, I can beg on my knees
Come jump in, bimbo friend, let us do it again,
hit the town, fool around, let's go party
You can touch, you can play, if you say: "I'm always yours"
You can touch, you can play, if you say: "I'm always yours"

Come on Barbie, let's go party!
(Ah-ah-ah-yeah)
Come on Barbie, let's go party!
(uu-oooh-u)
Come on Barbie, let's go party!

I love the grunge stuff like Nirvana and Soundgarden, but I also love the cheesy pop songs of this time like Hanging Tough by New Kids on the Block and MMMbop by Hanson and stuff like that. It's stuff I grew up on, so it's hard to get out my system!

I knew the real meaning behind Barbie Girl even as a kid! The worst thing about Aqua is that they weren't just a one hit wonder, we had to suffer through Dr. Jones too!

This is a song that I was far too naive about as a kid. I've been told now that the real meaning was something along the lines of "there are ugly girls in the club, why?!"

I know this isn't just a thread about cheesy 90s pop but it's fun looking back at all that!

I was a big Backstreet Boys Fan......I don´t need to post all videos here right :P

Me too. and it's not like today that you can find everything on the net. I collect every peace of paper that even mention the band. I was worse than Justin Beiber fans  and I still like them, BTW :)

I was talking with my friend the other day, and she's more into Metal but she said that in the 90's she listen to pop songs. and we both agree that the 90's pop songs have more meanings than the songs today also the video clips were more enjoy to watch, not like today that they just want so show more skin.

Anyhow, they are many songs I love from the 90's but I can't post every video:
