Old No Doubt is still awesome.

When I was in second grade my cousins made me obsessed with NSYNC. I had a lame rap phase at the beginning of 7th grade...that's all I can remember. I got a lot of music from Tony Hawk games though, goood music too.

I can only remember a few people. Avril Lavigne being one of the more prominent ones, but I listened to a lot of Green Day and blink-182. I still listen to them too. Not Avril though, she had to go.

A big hodgepodge of pop rock scene. I used to love The Offspring, but I'm not listening to them anymore

This thread makes me feel old :P

The first single I owned was "I Should Be So Lucky" by Kylie Minogue, my parents bought it for me when I was 2 because I liked it so much . But after that the first stuff I remember listening to was grunge because both my parents were obsessed with it, they played it in the house all the time and my dad played bass in a local grungy band that I saw perform and rehearse a lot. Nirvana was my favourite and there was also a lot of Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Faith No More, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots. And Metallica too, I remember when Enter Sandman came out my dad's band covered it and I really liked it.

First music I liked by myself was Take That though, EVERYONE at my primary school was obsessed with them. Only boyband I ever liked. And my best friend and I always listened to Michael Jackson, and RnB like TLC, R.Kelly and Mary J. Blige. When we were 8 we decide to be a pop/ RnB band called Spice (before the Spice Girls existed). We wrote songs and everything.

I used to listen to really heavy metal when I was younger...Lordi, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold. I don't listen to it at all anymore, lol. I hate screaming.

To be honest, the only band I've always listened to from back then to now is Lostprophets.

Under 10? I don't think I discovered bands I really like until I was 11 (Green Day) so I don't really know how to answer this question. I guess, because my mom always played music, I must've heard songs by the Beatles, the Police, 10cc, stuff like that.

The first song I learned to sing as a kid (and never refused the chance to do so in front of an audience!) was Rock & Roll Kids, the 1994 Eurovision entry and winner from Ireland.

The first bands I got into were whatever my parents played in the car which was usually the Spanish folk group Gypsy Kings or ABBA. The first group I got into were actually Westlife! First concert I ever went to and I can still song most of their songs before 2004 word for word.

Spice Girls, S Club 7, Steps... and HEARSAY. <3 Plus artists from my parents' CD collection, like Madonna, Kylie, Britney, ACDC, U2, The Rolling Stones and most importantly, Barry White. Can't get enough of your love, babe.

Not much has changed. :P

Avril Lavigne definitely. Now that I'm thinking about it....she was pretty much it.

I was also raised on The Who, Queen, and the Stones. My mom is a huge rock and roll junkie, so there was a lot of their music around the house. Out of those three I only really listen to Queen now, though.

Spice Girls! I saw them back when they were in their hey-day. And carried a flame for Baby Spice (before I even knew what flames were!).

Was obsessed with Earth Song by Michael Jackson, and oddly enough the theme to the Flintstones. Had that on cassette! Also Kung Fu Fighting by Bus Stop feat. Carl Douglas was a regular track on the list.
