I'd like to pick either a younger version of my grandparents, or an even older ancestor of mine just to have an idea where I came from and to see how far the line came and if we'd get along greatly or not. Fuck them famous people, they have their thoughts written down in the history books, I want something more personal.

Moses. I want to find out what kind of shit he was smoking when he wrote the 10 Commandments.

I wanted to say Lewis Carrol, but I read somewhere that his hobby was photographing kids in bathing suits http://www.greendaycommunity.org/public/...

Actually, that was a pretty common hobby at the time.

Still weird as balls though.

Haha, he's on my list! And yeah, his photography was a bit....questionable to say the least. But still, I'm slightly fascinated by his life and imagination. Most of my favorite nursery rhymes as a kid were written by him, along with Alice of course.

A tie between The Rev from Avenged Sevenfold, and Mitch Lucker. I wanna talk to The Rev because he was a MASSIVE inspiration on me as a person, and with drumming and my own sense of humor. And Mitch because he was just such an amazing person, father, and musician.

My friend Scott, so that i could tell him i'm not mad at him. And so he could explain himself and apologize for the hell he put us through (presumably. I'm pretty sure he'd be really fucking sorry.)

Osama Bin Laden, so we can be like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM, YOU FUCKING DOUCHE??? I still wish he'd been taken alive, and put on trial. And then turned free on the street in manhattan to be ripped to shreds by a rabid mass of 9/11 survivors. And be given the worst case of pubic lice possible (before he died, of course.)

Nah, that was when he was still young, and herding sheep in the desert before he freed the Israelites from Egypt. Although he was probably blazing up while minding those sheep, it's not the most interesting of jobs.

Hey look, the nice Catholic boy knows his scripture :P

My first thought was "Stieg Larsson", because I'm a nerd and he was awesome.

Now that I think of it though, I'll have to agree with the people saying Tesla/Marx/Poe and maybe add Virginia Woolf, George Orwell and Pierre de Fermat.

What makes you think that? I'm sure he has a few answers he could've revealed

Well you don't tell the guy you're setting up the plan. If Ruby hadn't shot him he would have been executed, what did he have to lose by blabbing?

I want to jump in an Animus. I have Scandinavian and Italian roots, one of my ancestors had to have been a badass viking or Roman soldier or something.

edit: President Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson Emily Dickinson, William Shakespeare, Poe,

If I could talk to any dead President it would be Woodrow Wilson. He wasn't the best but he was a visionary.

I would love to just sit and talk with Henry David Theoreau. I love his writing and what he has to say about society, solitude, government...basically everything.

I'd party with the Rev, but I wouldn't want a coffee date like it seems many here wants.
If I met Jesus I'd ask if he felt sorry for himself.

George Orwell. I'd like to see HIS take on 1984 rather than my English teachers'. I do love that book though, regardless.

One of my grandmother's brothers. I never met him, but he was an urdu writer and poet and I'd love to see what inspired him, since I've always enjoyed creative writing myself.

Hitler. He may be 'evil', but it'd be interesting to get some insight into his complex characters as an individual as well as a political figure.

Also, I'd say Warren Zevon. The man was a fucking genius, and I can imagine holding a stimulating conversation with him.
