We're just a few weeks away from the release of the final film in the record-breaking franchise, and to celebrate, MTV has lined up a "Twilight" treat for Tuesday night. We are proud to announce the world premiere of Green Day's music video for "The Forgotten," on Tuesday, October 30, at 6:55 p.m. ET/PT on MTV and MTV.com. "The Forgotten" is the first music video from the film's soundtrack and also features footage from "Breaking Dawn - Part 2." The song marks the band's first contribution to a "Twilight" soundtrack, which will be available three days before the film's release, on Tuesday, November 13. "When we were asked to be part of the 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' soundtrack, we readily agreed because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon," bassist Mike Dirnt told Yahoo! of why the group chose to get involved with the franchise as it comes to a close.
