Todd Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 Ive been waiting three years to hear drama queen recorded. I didnt mind waiting for stray heart. This is a let down, but also leaves a big opportunity to put something else on Tre. Heather. Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 Lazy Bones, Wild One, Make Out Party, and Stray Heart looks like one of the most solid 4 song blocs on any Green Day album. I have a feeling the first half of this album is going to be much stronger than the second half though. That's what I would have thought for Uno but the whole thing was solid top to bottom, with many of my favorite songs coming later! I'm glad they dropped Drama Queen (wouldn't mind if it disappeared entirely...) from Dos, it would have been too slow and random in the middle of the party. It fits better on Tre. However, lyrically, Stray Heart is very post-party, but musically it's a lot of fun, so I can see why they're doing that. Dos is not going to be as alarmingly experimental and garage-y as I was fearing. I like the FBHT sound, but I like Green Day more, and based on what we know about Dos, it's going to be a GREEN DAY album, and I'm glad. I thought it was not going to be on the album because i thought that they would only have 12 tracks per album!!! I wounder why DOS gets 13 tracks where UNO and maybe TRE only get 12????
