So my auntie and my cousin were planning on going, so it looks like I'm going on the Sunday :woot:
It's annoying because I need to buy my own ticket because of the two ticket rule, (auntie could have got mine and I pay her back) so there might be a chance I wind up not able to go :S

couldn't get any

i was on ticketmaster ready to go bang on 9 and nothing! all of the dates sold out within like a minute sigh

Wasn't the touts mate. 70% of the tickets went in the presale, and about 10,000 people went for about 1,800 tickets. Touts got barely a couple of dozen and they've all been taken off the usual sites already.

They were completely gone in under a minute. Just pure luck of the draw.

Just got back from seeing the biff in Sydney - friggin amazing night - small venue with hardcore fans that knew the words to every song. Can't wait to see them down under again. Love these guys.

I properly started listening to Biffy Clyro yesterday, and I can't fucking stop! What a band! I mean, seriously, there isn't a single song that leaves you disappointed. How the hell have I never heard of them before?

My dad told me he listened to Puzzle the other day and enjoyed it. Actually he said he listened to "the one with I'm a Match or something," but I knew what he meant.

Well at this point I listened to almost the entire discography since I really can't stop. I'm only missing Infinity Land and Opposites, which I'll soon give a listen to. Obviously there are high and lows, like all the bands in the history of music, but the fact is that the lows are really, really high! :D It's unbelievable how much these guys are talented.

Anyway, my favourite ones, at the moment, are The Captain, Bubbles and God & Satan off Only Revolutions, Joy. Discovery. Invention and Who's Got A Match?.

Ah, you're still on their more stadium rock/anthemic stuff. Their wankier stuff is harder to get into but so so good.

I guess it's quite a common thing when you listen to them for the first time. I actually like most of their songs, I think I'll appreciate more the other stuff when I'll give it a deeper and more careful listen.

I finally downloaded similarities (on spotify, gonna buy physical soon). I love Break a butterfly on a wheel, Fingers and Toes and Sorry and Thanks purely for the "I wish there were still dinosaurs... pterodactyls!!" lyric

(Also the riff in the beginning of city of dreadful night reminds of music from Spyro for some reason??)

you need to listen Infinity Land haha. But in my opinion they don't really have any lows, every song is consistently amazing.

I have no problem now saying that Similarities is better than Opposites. Also, I think Little Hospitals would fit in perfectly on it. Opposites has great moments, but it's all over the place in genre and style.

Got me a digital copy of "Similarities".. I really like it, especially "The Rain", "Milky", "A lonely Crowd", "Fingers And Toes" and "No I'm Not Down".
