CAN'T FUCKING WAIT!!! To think that my last band played Are We the Waiting/St. Jimmy on this very same stage just over a year ago...great thought!
how many people do you think are purchasing tickets on Wednesday? Im signing up for the IC later so I can get 4 tickets to this show.. just want to know what the sales are going to be like here in Arizona....

Not sure. Not sure if they will allow you to buy 4 either. Some venues are allowing 4 and others are only allowing 2. There also may be a chance that it is 18+, but not sure about that either. Will just have to wait for details to be released.

I already have the Idiot Club and since they go on sale Wednesday, I have very little time to book my trip. Seriously considering, and I am very likely to go, crossing my fingers!
And no, I am not from Arizona, I live in Florida.

I looked up the venue. Pretty small, fits about 1000 people. It should be all ages since the Marquee Theatre has always been an all ages venue. If you go to the venue's website and look for this show, it says that you can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets. But does anyone have an idea on what the ticket prices might look like? Some other shows there have tickets ranging from $10 to $35, but I imagine it will be more expensive than that...

All I need is to book some tickets and I'm off! I hope it's not too expensive. This is my birthday present.

Usually with Idiot Club they are only available online.

The venue is pretty small. I think capacity is like 750, but they usually pack around 1000 in for big shows. Here's the video of my old band playing on that stage (it's a big stage for a small venue). It's so cool that I sang Green Day songs on that stage a little over a yea before Green Day will be playing there!!

Okay thanks man. I've been to The Marquee plenty of times. It's max capacity is 1,200 and they'll probably pack it as tight as they can for Green Day. It's an awesome smaller venue and I bet seeing GD there will be amazing. Does anyone have any clue how fast it's gonna sell out??

I've seen several shows there as well. It is an amazing venue for GD to be playing. I've actually had the thought for about 3 weeks that they would play there. Seeing what they've been doing with smaller venues during their festival tour, my gut told me they would be at the Marquee. As far as tickets are concerned, it depends on how many the IC allots for IC members. IF I were in charge, for these smaller venue shows I would leave it open to Idiot Club until public tix go on sale. If IC members by them all, then that's how it should be. It would mean that true fans were getting in. For a show like this though, I predict that tix will be gone within two minutes. We will be having people from So Cal trying to get them as well. Possibly even NM and TX.

Two minutes? Jeez. What would you suggest the best way of getting tickets would be?
Be at your computer refreshing the page as soon as they are close to going on sale. Haha

Oh my...that's rather expensive for Green Day and a small venue...Saw a post on the Phoenix New Times website saying that tickets will be $62. Not sure if this is after any fees or not, but still an awesome price for a venue like this.
Ugh, getting shaky.

That's actually not bad at all. A smaller venue actually increases the ticket prices due to basic rules of supply and demand. Pit tickets for their big arena shows were like $80, so this is actually quite reasonable I think.

I thought they were going to be 10 dollars.
I could probably ask someone I know that lives in Tempe.

BUT
So we get our code from an email. We get the link to the website from IC and go to that website. We will be asked (before or after?) for the code to purchase them. We click the amount of tickets we are requesting, and click purchase and hope for the best?
Is that it?
and Im guessing we should be ready at the given link prior to 10am venue time? So we are ready?

We don't need to code because we are buying them from the Idiot Club not TicketMaster. So here is how this is happening... and im guessing many many others are asking this series of questions too...

I'm going really crazy. If I don't get these tickets, I am taking a pointless, sad trip to Arizona...Getting tickets to this is prety much all I've thought about since finding out about it. I'm seriously going crazy.
