I don't know if Live 105 is in denial or what (or maybe they're too busy having their noses up the SF Giants butts)! They have not announced it on their site or sent out emails to the radio winners.
I wonder if, as a makeup for the canceled show and for Live 105, Green Day is just going to play Not So Silent Night again. Guess we'll find out about that in a few hours.

I thought maybe that was the reason why Live 105 hadn't said any thing yet. I had been wondering about that since someone had said that Aaron Axelson had told someone on the board while at a club that something "exciting was going to be happening with Green Day on October 29" and Live 105 was announcing the Not So Silent Night line up on that day but I don't think so now. The person on the board had been told about October 29 BEFORE all of this went down so that might have originally been the plan. I would be pleasantly surprised if it did happen now especially since the other shows are in question now.I wonder if, as a makeup for the canceled show and for Live 105, Green Day is just going to play Not So Silent Night again. "LIVE 105 would like to update and assure our winners that the Grande Green Day show is not cancelled but will be postponed to a future date. From our understanding, Green Day has cancelled promotional appearances and tour dates through 2012 and those who purchased tickets have been reimbursed. LIVE 105 does not plan to officially cancel this show unless notified directly by the Green Day camp. Once a rescheduled date is confirmed, all ticket winners will be notified and tickets will be provided. However, we have no way of guessing when a date at The Fillmore will be decided upon and when the rescheduled show will take place. In the meantime, LIVE 105 Grande Green Day ticket winners will not be reimbursed in the form of an alternate prize.
Thank you for understanding and patience!"
This is really interesting!

Interesting. But what makes this show stand out? Does this mean the other shows like Sacramento and Santa Cruz will be rescheduled as well? Well in any case this would mean people would have to rebuy tickets for the new shows if they already handed out all the refunds. Doesn't make sense at all. The show has been cancelled and refunds have already been going out. Why the hell would they cancel and then reschedule just to make people buy tickets again?

The one thing that makes this show stand out is that it is being put on by the Bay Area radio station that helped get Green Day their start. They know they live here. This is really confusing though. Maybe they are just holding out for another show they can replace it with to sponsor.Interesting. But what makes this show stand out? I still find it rather odd that Live 105 would send that email when all other outlets have announced that it is cancelled and issued refunds. Maybe there are still holding on to hope that they will get a show that is sponserd by themThe one thing that makes this show stand out is that it is being put on by the Bay Area radio station that helped get Green Day their start. I went to a concert last night sponsored by Live 105 and Menace (a DJ for Live 105) said that they intend on having the show rescheduled when Billie is ready and Live 105 but they haven't heard any new news yet. Nothing really new but I thought I should share because of all the confusion of whether it's cancelled or not.
Well we all got refunds so will suck to go through the pressure of getting tickets again for any future show if there is any

That's the part that sucks. Those of us who got tickets this time, might not be so lucky next time.

bah, you can't re-schedule a show that's been refunded. They just need to acknowledge that this show was cancelled, whether or not they hold a new show in the future is a separate thing. Let the fans have some concrete, solid proof so all doubts are removed.
