For all you people going to or planning or going to university or college.

I'm planning on going to university in about a year and half, after taking a year off school. Looking to do something in audio engineering so I'm looking for a class that will suit me currently

Going to University of Washington near the end of September... I'm simply sharing this information because I joined this site when I was in 6th grade, so I feel quite strange and a bit nostalgic. Time flies.

Haven't seen you on GDC for ages. :o

On another note... only two more exams to go and I'll be free for the next three months!

Yeah, it's been a minute! Last time I posted besides the last few days was like a year ago, and even then, that was only a few posts haha. I've been preoccupied with Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, my photography business, friends, life... I suppose I got bored of being around here because there are very few people left who I know, and plus, I don't really care about Green Day anymore haha.

Going to college? Living on campus or getting your own apartment? Here's a quick $1-2 tip that'll save you some grief.

Buy a bottle of hot sauce. Don't get anything too hot like "Napalm Death" or "Satan's Tears" or whatever. Just get something you can manage. Cholula, Frank's Red Hot, or the green Japaleno Tabasco are all good choices. Get some Sriracha if you're into that sort of thing. But try to keep it somewhere around medium-low heat.

Eventually you'll wind up being confronted with food that isn't exactly your favorite. Sometimes it'll be "dorm food." Sometimes it'll be some sort of pre-packaged "just add water" and microwave" dinner. Whatever it is, it'll be the only food choice available. So make it semi-palatable. Splash some sauce on there and stir it up. It still won't be great, but it'll be not as bad.

Please trust me on this.

My exam results come out in 16 days...I'm already freaking out a little bit about it.

I'm moving out in 33 days to go to a music academy where I'm doing a diploma in music performance. It's a one year course, kinda like a foundation degree. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm absolutely terrified at the same time.

I'm starting my senior year in just over a month. Holy shit. The last three years went by so fast and I don't know how it happened.
I'm beginning to think maybe after graduation I may want to take a 4-week summer class abroad if I can afford it/if my school lets me. I'm thinking either the UK or Greece...my old roommate studied abroad this summer and then went backpacking through Europe and I really wish I could do that.

I have my last exam tomorrow. My motivation to study is zero, but I've already failed that class once and I really don't wanna take the exam a third time, so I hope I'll pass.

I'm trying to found a student residency or a room to rent near my university, but it's mission impossible, I swear. I found a great apartment to be shared with 2 toehr students, but it's in a really shitty area. I found a room at house in a tgreat location, but I can jsut tell the owner of the house is picky as hell with just about everything. Every thing else is already taken.

ugh, paying my rent online was just such a pain. I was told by more than one person that I could pay for the entire semester at once, but I kept receiving an error. When I just entered the amount for one month's worth of rent, it went through fine. I just want to pay for it all right now so I don't have to worry about it. I really hate the company that owns the building I'm living in this year.

 I'm sure you'll find something. I had the same problem 2 weeks ago. I was looking for an apartment for me and my friend but we couldn't find anything, then I was looking for room for myself and everything was in bad condition but my friend told me that in apartment where she wouldl live there was a free place and I took it. Few days of looking for a room and I lost weight.

Found out about my roommate and she seems alright. I can't wait to get back and start classes and everything, I'm getting sick of home/working life at this point. Four weeks to go.

Five more weeks until school starts up again for me. As stupid as it sounds, I'm looking forward to having stuff to work on again, when I'm not working I feel like I'm doing nothing productive. I'm sure when midterms roll around I'll have a different mindset but for now, I'm kind of excited. Really need to get my GPA up this semester though. Hopefully Managerial Accounting won't bring it down like Financial did.
