Green Day References

My mum told me the other day she was listening to a play on the radio, it was set in Poland in 2005, and to help set the scene at the beginning there was a news story on a tv in the background that was about Green Day selling out a show and had a bit of American Idiot playing :D. Don't know what the play was though.

Just heard shoplifter in the background for an advert about people on benefits shoplifting on channel 5, hardly ever hear gd on tv let alone a b-side :lol:

I was watching a doco on Steve Jobs & when they were discussing the iPod/iTunes vision they were filming in a record store & the cd they picked up was GD.

Read this book called Ways to Live Forever when I was 13. It was an amazing book and a character named Felix was a huge Green Day fan. It had a few mentions of Green Day concerts etc.

After completing that book, I googled Green Day out of curiosity and listened to some of their music. So, a random Green Day reference introduced me to Green Day.

I don't have a picture but on my social studies homework one of the questions were "What is a Nuclear Family?"
