I just watched the DVD of the making of The 2nd Law.. And I still wonder what the hell Matt wrote on that orange :D

Damn, there was a bonus DVD of the making of The 2nd Law?! I have the one that came with The Resistance. Cool story actually, I got The Resistance one day early from Target in September 2009. I didn't know it wasn't scheduled to come out until the following day and I asked a worker there if they were already out of stock. So, he checked in the back for me and unknowingly gave me a copy a day early lol. One of the times I got really lucky. Anyhow, I pre-ordered The 2nd Law on Amazon, so I assumed if there was a bonus making of DVD, it would come with that version. Well, that stinks that I don't have the edition with the bonus DVD!

yes, there was a deluxe edition of The 2nd law ;)
I bought it on Amazon too when it was released.. for a strange reason it was cheaper then the normal cd :)
anyway there's the making of only few songs, that's why I prefer the one that came with The Resistance

My moment today: I was reading an article and read that Muse was going to preform at Lollapalooza. I then proceeded to freak out only to be totally disappointed to find out that they would be preforming in Brazil. not Chicago.

I'm personally glad its not Chicago. I hate festivals and I'd rather see Muse in their own show.

Well, my uncle passed away at Lolla, so it's essentially taboo in my family now...

All my favorite bands are nowhere to be found in NA this year. I guess I'll be seeing quite a few concerts in a year or two, then. The Hives, Muse, Biffy, Jack White, Green Day, etc...

U2 even, yeah 2015/2016 is going to be a good year. Anyone else planning college around where you know bands will tour?

Well you obviously haven't heard Ordinary Love or Invisible (live with Fallon and Super Bowl), or that Bono mentioned 2 other song names recently (Song for Someone and The Troubles), etc...

I have heard Ordinary Love and Invisible has been on loop all day today and I new a new album release was coming up but I didn't think they would start a tour by 2014, at least not in Chicago.

Fair enough but I never get sick of those two,and its been awhile. Although I must say I have found myself listening to a lot more of The Resistance lately which I wasn't that into when it first came out. I suppose its grown on me.

Unnatural Selection is one of my favorite songs (playing it is fun too) but I never really connected with La Resistance. I guess it's better than The 2nd Law, but the latter's songs really stuck with me more.

Ultimately they are a band that I got really addicted to really fast. The have a great sound both live and in studio and the guitar riffs in their songs are pretty epic.

I never get tired of Falling Down. It's a great contrast to Fillip, and certainly belongs in a movie soundtrack
