If you're happy with your tattooartist there is no point in trying to find a new one. Unless he moves away or something. Mine won't dare.

Double post, oh well.

I got my tragus pierced today! I love it  I will post a picture probably on Thursday.

For anyone who already has it done, in terms of cleaning, I'm assuming cleaning both sides using a cotton bud with suitable water is alright?

I hope I don't turn over onto the side that's pierced in my sleep now

I did a warm salt soak using sea salt and purified water for 5 minutes morning and evening for three days... and then just in the evening for a week... and then I never cleaned it again, ever. Healed up great!

i used a q-tip soaked in sea salt until it stopped being swollen and crusty. i was kinda lazy with it tbh, and it turned out just fine :P it also didn't hurt at all for me to sleep on it.

I think I slept on mine the day I got it done. Don't remember cleaning it much either because it was kind of a pain in the ass job.

Ear is still attached.

Mine has become neither swollen or crusty  and it's not sore or anything. Although it'll take a while to be able to answer my phone on the right side I'd say
Surprisingly, I've not been touching it much at all! Quite unlike me :P

Are there any disadvantages to using push-fit studs rather than the regular threaded ones?

In other news I've had my snake bites 11 days and they've healed incredibly well. I'm actually really surprised by how quickly they've stopped being high maintenance.

I always use salt water. Works very well. :)
I want to change my tragus piercing to a ring. Not sure if it would suit me but I want to give it a try.

I lucked out with my tragus piercing, I absolutely adore the jewelry I got and have never wanted to change it. Good thing, I suppose, because I haven't the slightest idea how I would go about taking it out

I got mine done with a ring and eventually got it changed to a bar. I don't change it often but it's quite easy.

Grand thanks! That's what I've been doing :)

I'm lucky that I like what the piercer put in, I had no choice in the matter like :P

I love my jewelry as well. But I've had it for five years now. So a change would be nice. It's very easy to take out, but changing it to a ring.. I have no idea how to do that. I'll just get them to change it at the piercing studio for me. :)

Sure. :D
you had no choice, at all? I love the one I have but since I've had it for so long it would be nice to change it. :)

I don't recall having much of a say in what jewelry I got either, aside from asking for the smallest ring they could use.

Really.. I had a lot of different ones to chose from, except rings. They never use them for new piercings at the studio I go to. :)

I can't imagine taking out the curved bar I have in my rook  I thought about taking it out, but it'd be damn near impossible to get out and put it back in.
