We could have played so much better today. Didn't get the result we needed, but glad we got at least a point out of it.

I really hope this Di Maria deal is confirmed by United, he'll be a huge boost to the club.

Di Maria to United seems to be going ahead. Great player, I didn't think he'd take that step down. Not gonna be enough for them yet though, United's squad needs a lot more work.

Di Maria is a great player, but they really need to strengthen their defence! That would be my priority.

United need to strengthen but they don't need another winger. Granted Di Maria is better than Young, Valencia and Januzaj but he's not what they need and it's United again paying stupid money for a name. They need more in defence and central midfield. The idea of a team pushing for a European place with Cleverley and Fletcher in centre midfield is laughable.

The 2nd season post-Fergie has just started and Man United seem to already have more in common with Chelsea and Man City (minus the results so far obviously) than with Ferguson's United.

And I'm fairly happy that Arsenal bought Welbeck, he's certainly not the greatest striker we could have gotten but the thought of playing Sanogo worried me and Welbeck deserves some Champions League football nevertheless ;) But it's not a signing that will make much difference if we were gonna run for the league title; we don't have any good defensive midfielder and an even bigger of a concern is that we only have two established center halves (+ Chambers) which means 6 defenders in total. We are ridiculously vulnerable to injuries there and when it's time for the League Cup we'd have to play Mertesacker and/or Koscielny it seems.

It's unlikely that Arsenal will challenge for the league title but I don't think any of us will be able to keep up with the talents that Chelsea and City have. I'm thinking Liverpool and Arsenal will be fighting for 3rd and 4th. As for your squad worries, you've got a far better midfield and defence than United, so things could be worse!

Never been a massive welback fan, but I think we could benefit from having him on the squad.

Falcao to United tough  should be the biggest threat United pose this season

I agree with everything and I think and predict that if things don't always go like Arsenal and Liverpool supporters would like this season I think we both can always tell ourselves "it could be worse, we could be United fans" ;)

And Cleverley to Aston Villa. Even bigger threat. Looks like Manchester's been getting rid of shit.
