That Arsenal signed Sanchez was absolutely brilliant and it looks as if we'll get Debuchy as well any time now (unless it's Higuain all over again). It's as if Wenger has learned the importance of proper signings, Ozil last year and now this. Not that I wanted Wenger to sign a three year long contract but now we've been starting to showing some more ambition and we Gooners don't have to hear the "X number of years since Arsenal last won a trophy" every other fucking game so things are looking up ;)

And I don't think Liverpool will use their money so wisely but way better than Spurs did last year and Kenny Dalgleish did ever because it's hard not to beat, but I bet they'll getting some decent players instead of a proper replacement for Suarez which still would be hard to get nevertheless.

Excuse my ignorance but who are your team and who is Aaron Cresswell?

Ipswich. Cresswell was our left back (and a good one at that), who we sold to West Ham for about £4 million.

Who needs £75 million superstar transfers between major clubs when you can have Super Mick's Blue and White Army? :P

Mick McCarthy is a great manager, he was unfortunate to preside over the shipwreck that was Wolves but he knows his stuff and seems like a decent guy too.

Manchester United have just announced that addidas will make their kits from next season on. The 10 year deal is worth £750 million. This is Staggering When you compare it to Chelsea getting £300m from Adidas for a similar 10 year Contract. That is £75m a year from Adidas and £53m a year from chevorlet on jersey sponsorship alone
That is crazy money.

Imagine how many Rooney wages you could pay for that money. Just wow.

But I read (don't know the extents of it but) that this deal for United involved Adidas getting control of United's retail, many licensing things, etc. which most clubs apparently don't give away but stay in control of themselves. Still, crazy money. Arsenal's new Puma deal is worth like a little more than just 1/3 of it.

The control adidas will have is The same than Nike have had for the last 10 years.

you wish ;)
off the back of United worst season in nearly 30 years we have signed our biggest sponsorship Deal ever, the biggest shirt deal ever and our season tickets for next season have also sold out in record time. Last season was a blip ;)

Man City's deal with Nike is only £12 million a year. I say only like that's nothing.

I'm not sure how much Liverpool's is with Warrior but they'd wanna be paying us big money to wear the fucked up away kits they make.

Kroos moving to Madrid will apparently be confirmed today! :woot:

Kaylor Navas would be an amazing surprise, but I am not ready to see Diego Lopez go :(

And apparently Morata has been asked to stay

Kroos for 20 million is an amazing deal. He was one of the important players in that German team and he's still very young. Seems as if Khedira is on his way out though?

So Rodriguez to Madrid is the 4th most expensive signing ever and in the top 10 of most expensive transfer fees ever Real are behind 6 of them. Not that it's anything new but I'd say it's most fair to blame them a great deal for the insane transfer fees.

Not to get all politicial but it sets a great example that two clubs the same summer have bought two players (Rodriguez & Suarez) for a total of 174 million € in a country that has a youth unemployement rate of like 55% (sarcasm obviously and I'm of course not saying there's a correlation between the transfer costs and employment rates).
