Recently I've been reading the book I Slept With Joey Ramone by Mickey Leigh (Joey Ramone's brother) for a school report I'm doing on punk rock history. I was just wondering if anyone else has read it? If not, I completely recommend it if you're into older punk music.

I actually just finished it about 2 weeks ago. I loved it, and really can relate with Joey and the emotional things he went through(being a freak, my parents think I have OCD, etc.)

Haha yeah. I remember when I was reading the book. During all the parts about Johnny I was just like "...Wow. What a dick." And man, that's so cool. I can't even imagine what I would have done if I had ever been able to meet him. Knowing me I'd just stand there awkwardly staring at him xD

It's really great. Since it was written by Joey's brother it's really personal and has a lot of details about the band dynamics and all

You should see some RAMONES documentaries, like End of the Century or Raw ((if you haven't already I mean)), where Johnny really seems like a bitter ass. Nevertheless, I do agree this is what made him cool..
