Ah, that trailer looks perfect. It looks like they're taking it to a more darker, more mysterious level this time. Which I personally love. If that is done well, it's one of my favorite things in movies. I also loved that they put Legolas in the movie, it's gonna shake stuff up and make the movie all the more interesting. I loved the shot where Bilbo gets the crap freaked out of him where Smaug's face comes creeping around the corner, or when he's stuck and there's spiders moving all around. Ahhhhh, got me soooo excited!!!

Well, like what? to be fair, I'm laughing at almost anything...

The only part I found kind of forced was when the Dwarves come to Rivendell and one of them (I forgot who exactly) asks if they have any fries. That felt a bit off, especially since fries weren't even invented at that time. I have this slight feeling that was targeted to impress the rather younger viewers. I don't know maybe it's just me. All the rest of the humor parts seemed fine to me.

This is related to the Hobbit Movies.

Orlando Bloom finished filming his last scene and Peter Jackson posting this video of him after.

I watched it the other week and, I found it very unaccessible. I'm not a big enough fan to know the back story of everything, and something in the way it was made/cut made it quite difficult to follow in places.

Like the first one, I liked parts of it (the meet the hobbit scenes and the giants scene in the first one, and smaug's scenes in this one), and I'll probably watch the third one, but I'm not fussed about either so far.

Saw the 2nd film back in December. In general, I liked it. It was a better film than the first one, but again it was way too drawn out. I liked the scenes with Gandalf and the Necromancer, even though that was only mentioned [once] in the book and the scenes with Smaug were good, but they went on for much too long. I'm interested to see how they get another two and a half hour film out of what's left of this story. It really doesn't come close to LOTR.

Loved the Desolation of Smaug. Great movie. Can't wait for There and Back Again. The movie reminded me about everything I loved about LOTR.

I like both of these Hobbit movies a lot, hope that the third one will be amazing! And it doesn't bother me that there are some scenes in the movies that don't appear in the book, they are just entertaining additions. Here I come Middle Earth! :D

THIS THREAD SEEMS SO PERFECT.

I too, think the books are better than the Movies.

Both- The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings

But, hats-off to the movies as well.

Without a doubt, the speacial effects deserve 567 Oscars.

Oh man I don't know what I shall think about the 3rd hobbit part. The first two ones were so bad I was so disappointed...  I hope I don't get too excited when the trailer comes out.

I didn't think they were too bad... just overblown.

I saw it too and I think it was okay. It isn't that bad as the second part but some parts are really boring... idk. If jackson made 2 movies instead of 3 the movies would have been much better :(

Rest of the family went to see it today. All six of them thought it was complete shite, and they loved the five other LOTR universe movies, so that says something. Apparently the whole thing was very nonsensical and there was no consistent logic to most of the action/plot.

May torrent sometime if I'm very bored.

I saw the final movie when it came out.  The last one is kinda missing the story line, but it makes sense when I freshly watch the first two before seeing it.
