Hey, no worries--I just thought it was funny. We prefer your face intact. ;)

I don't because it's the same face that proof read my stupid comment :(

"Fuck the past. Live in the present." - Mike Dirnt

The best advice is always hypocritical.

What's hypocritical about it?

The 99 Revs Tour. Mike said in the documentary that they didn't want their club shows to be a greatest hits concert. They wanted to play new material. That changed though.

Oh, ok. I got the impression he was talking exclusively about the club shows, though. In which case it's fair enough, since obviously they did play some hits at those but they also did a hell of a lot of new material. The bigger tours are different beasts altogether, it'd never work for them to do all new material in front of 10,000+ people.

Billie Joe said something along the lines of this at my first Green Day show (I'm sure he's probably repeated it)

"This is the time to be fucking alive right now. Through every fucking bullshit crisis, and all the crap that you see on the internet, and all the bullshit that you see on television, we've got fucking music goddammit!"

Excuse the profanity :P

"Enjoy every second. Feel every second. Cry every second. Laugh every second. Destroy every second. Give every second."

Billie Joe tweeted this in 2011 and I just love it.

I'm not thinking well today (wine time)

Danger

Not quite at home

The eyes of temptation

The flesh and my bones

Hello stranger

I'm a disaster

This brutal love

Thats all I got

"A conscientious objector to the war that's in my mind" - Castaway

"Your slogan's a gun for hire" - Viva La Gloria!

"You're numb to your old glory but now it's gone" - X-Kid

"Promise me no dead end streets, and I'll guarantee we'll have the road" - Worry Rock

I'm sure there are loads more, but they're the ones that immediately came to mind. I love it when Billie uses metaphors.

-What the hell's your name? Whats your pleasure what is your pain? Do you dream to much? Do you think what you need is a crutch? - Homecoming

-I want to be the minority, I don't need your authority, down with the moral majority, 'cause I want to be the minority - Minority

-The wohle lyrics of 21 Guns

-music to me is the air that I breathe, it's the blood that runs through my veins that keeps me alive.

-I sort of enjoy the fact that I'm misunderstood most of the time. That's fine.

There's just so many but I really love:

"There's no 'i' in band" :')

My favorite one from a song at the moment is:

"Drop out, drop dead hideous. Gow low, is this brutal love?

Actually the last minute of Brutal Love is probably my favorite moment out of the whole trilogy (even though there isn't a lot to like)

  1. I'm not growing up, I'm just burning out
  2. When it's time to live and let die, and you can't get another try, something inside this heart has died...
  3. I'm the son of Rage and Love, the Jesus of Suburbia
  4. You're just, a fuck, I can't explain it 'cause I think you suck. I'm taking pride, in telling you to fuck off and die

"I walk this empty street, on the boulevard of broken dreams." (also a lot of the lines from BOBD).

The majority of LNOE (for me not so much the love song, but it resonates passion in general to me; like how I feel about my current horse and my former horse).

Also "I got laid! I got laid!.... by my hand. (Tre to some magazine interviewer  ).

I feel so idiotic for asking this, but what song is LNOE supposed to be? Lol
