I have been hearing this story and news all about it for the past 2 days since I live in Kansas City and I just find it both very saddening and also very suspicious. Ten-month-old Lisa Irwin was last seen by her mother, who laid her down to sleep at 10:30 p.m on Monday night. The child was discovered missing by her father at 4 a.m. when he returned home from work. The parents immediately called police. Here are a few stories of resent activity in the case:

I seriously hope they find this little girl alive. Whoever would want to murder a 10 month old girl is seriously messed up in the head.

What would possess someone to kidnap/kill a 10 month old?

I doubt there's a logical explanation for that.

This is a very horrifying story. But am I the only one who finds the parents very suspicious? Parents refusing to cooperate with police, not calling 911 immediately, something about them just seems off

I don't know, it sounds that way but it could just be the article twisting things. But I assume the police always investigate the possibilty that it's the parents anyway so if there is anything suspicious they're gonna be looking into it.

Well even the TV interview the parents did, I felt that their emotions seemed forced

Edit: I see the mother failed a lie detector when being quizzed over the disappearance, which led to the parents refusing to cooperate with the investigation. This just furthers my suspicions

I feel so bad for this family. She is such a young child, I hope they find her alive. Who would seriously do that though? Whoever did better not hurt that poor innocent baby girl :(

The police also found a recipt to a store and they wet to the store and asked to see the securiy tapes and when they did there was video of the mother with an unknown man buying paper plates and boxed wine at 5 pm Monday (just about 5 hours from the time baby lisa was seen)

I hope that the baby is safe and she will be found quickly.

They say a cadiver (sorry if I misspelt it) dog reacted to the scent of a dead body near the bed in the missing child's parent's bedroom. That's horrible. If they killed that poor child....

Edit: Aw shit I forgot to add the article http://www.huffingto...html?id=1025872

mom admits she was drunk, no force entry, dog picks up smell of death in parents room, the girls husband is in war right now while the wife is home and had a baby with a boyfriend..... hmm someone might have felt bad for the troop over seas and did something or the parents did it since they were drunk
