Yeah hes cool. I basically brainswashed him in to Green Day :P

It's funny how most people who think of Australia immediately think of kangaroos and koalas. I hardly see any kangaroos or koalas.

I barely ever see kangaroos and koalas, unless I go camping. But occasionally we get a koala in our backyard.

Random question: How do you put up with all those mean comments people make about Collingwood supporters?

Really? We used to get kangaroos and koalas in our school all the time. It was pretty scary sometimes. And one jumped in front of our car heading onto the highway a few weeks ago.

It's good that you have all you teeth :)

I, personally, can't stand it when people make fun of my team. Even though to they do suck. (I go for Port Adelaide, by the way)

I guess the rivalry between the two teams is pretty intense. It's always good to rub victory in each others face after the showdown.

I can't believe people actually get koalas in their backyards.

We don't get them here so I only ever see them in zoos.

The most exciting things we get are geckos and skins and various birds

Yeah I live on the coast so nothing comes crawling into my backyard... that I know of... but at college we get possums now and then climbing up the stairs.. I see them sometimes in the tree outside my window

A friend of mine here in Chicago dated a guy from New Zealand many years ago (they met on a plane). And on his first visit here he requested a typical US Thanksgiving dinner since he'd never had turkey before. On another trip, in his honor, I made Pavlova. One of our morning news shows had just shown how to make it and I followed their recipe and he said it was the best he'd ever had.

I haven't thought about Pavlova in a long time. But I do remember it being yummy.
