Why not? Michael Jackson started when he was younger than that

" I can't imagine them as serious musicians at the age of 9-11"

Michael Jackson was famous so young for two reasons. He was amazingly talented, and he had a batshit insane abusive father. I wouldn't like to assume either of those things are the case for the Swimmers guys.

That's what I meant, they probably didn't gave two shits about music 10 years ago.. I think they start to take it more seriously when they released Don't Be A Dick.

as the hater admin said, Michael Jackson was ridiculously talented, Emily's Army has talent but not that much, c'mon.

I'm not a hater, I just think they get more praise than they deserve. They're not the worst band ever.

Oh I wasn't implying they were as talented as MJ lol just couldn't think of anyone really famous that started young I can name a few but most would be all who? Lol

But I do agree with you they probably weren't thinking of music as a career or anything at 10

Max said he was thirteen when he wrote his first song, that would make Cole 11. I don't really consider a band a band at least until they got a song written, let alone until they are playing real shows and have an album out. So yeah, I believe that was an exaggeration

It sounds like there's something wrong with their recording equipment in the cover.
