I am officially declaring that Dany being in Mereen is worse than the entire cast of The Walking Dead being stuck on that damn farm. She needs to just torch the city and move on.

we do not speak of TWD season 2

couldn't agree more, though. her storyline has been so separate from the rest of the characters, it started to become a boring intermission where most of the budget sadly went.

Then Peter Dinklage made it interesting again

An entire mind sacrificed, obliterated to serve one, single purpose. It really makes you think.

Children of the Forest, Hodor, uhm, hello, am I the only one who realized that Summer died? We're down to two, maybe three living direwolves depending on if the Umber double-betrayal theory is correct or not.

You know what happens to bad people? They get reincarnated as a direwolf in Westeros owned by the Stark family.

Christian was actually crying when Hodor died. :P I think it was an upsetting scene, but it didn't really seem like a sad scene to cry at, I was more angry than sad.

Oberyn's death was still the worst. And Meryn Trant's death will always be the greatest thing ever.

I finished Book 4 a couple of days ago and I am raging how inaccurate Dorne is in the show.

This was fuckin' A.

Such a well-done episode. The opening sequence was awesome!

Spoiler

And the alliance between Greyjoys and Dany, it sure is going to be interesting.

Lovely. I am so happy!!

Also, they should have realised that the giant should have a weapon as well.

So, R + L does indeed equal J.

I have some thoughts about the geographical aspects of this episode.

How the hell did Varys get from Dorne and back to Slaver's Bay? And how long did it take for Arya to get from Bravos to the Twins? I assume she took a ship from Bravos to somewhere like Maidenpool? In the show, Arya and Sandor spent weeks and weeks riding and walking. Getting from The Twins to The Bloody Gate took so long.

I love the show and this episode, but must the creators simply negate the time it takes to travel so much of the time?

Even Jaimie arrived in the nick of time to see Cersei crowned, but before that he was at the Twins. There is a significant distance between the Twins and Kings Landing.

Okay, so the finale was amazing, right? The haunting background score during the King's Landing sequence, omg. Definitely one of the best original score in recent times.

They have perfectly set up the final season through this episode. Dany is heading to Westeros, meanwhile Jon is promoted as the King in the North and Bran finally knowing the truth about R+L = J, its bound to get interesting. I love how well Arya did, this season. Her storyline was one of the best. Darker and full of interesting surprises. Now what does she decides to do with her abilities, we have yet to see. Also, Dorne getting together with the Tyrells supporting Dany should be the end of Lannisters. Wow, it was so much to take in.

I love how Sansa came on as a stronger character and our cute but ferocious Lady Mormont depicted how strong women can be! Women power all the way!!

Definitely a great season pulled of by the showrunners.

Dai.

So who are Jon's parents? I get that Lyanna is his mother, but who is she? And who's the father, if it isn't Rob Stark?
