So, I can't sleep until at least 3AM due to heat, then I'm woken up at about 8 by the sound of demolition works opposite my house. Again. How long does it take to knock down some garages?

Damn kids :P

Last night was insufferably hot, I woke up several times feeling completely sweaty and disgusting. The worst part was that every time I woke up I needed to switch positions because my back would be hurting, too, but when I moved I woke Mia up, and then she started coughing and hacking and crying and it was a vicious circle of not sleeping.

I would still take the heat over the cold any day though. There's something much less pleasant about waking up and feeling like my nose has frost-bite.

They filled the potholes in front of my house! Granted, it's a cheap patch job that will just break apart fairly quickly, but man, for the time being, it has cut down on the buses/big cars vibrating my house/room and waking me up!

My sleep pattern is very disrupted. Well, my biological clock doesn't work whatsoever. You can find me up at about 9 am, then i go to sleep for about 3 hours, then wake up for 3 hours then go back to sleep for about an hour or so. It goes on and on almost every day. And my dreaming, its just shit. I think i'v got excessive amounts of dreaming. I'm developing serious hate towards sleep right now, i don't want to sleep at all because all it does is lock me inside the dreams i have every single day.

Yep, I get that way a lot ... I lie in bed for three hours, sleep for three, repeat. I'm always in bed =/

I had a dream yesterday that I won an Emmy for writing for Louie. I was conscious that it was a dream, but I felt like such hot shit and winning an Emmy for writing is my ultimate dream so I let it play out because damn, it was awesome.

i had a dream the other night that i randomly got a tiny little snake from somewhere and it ended up biting my arm a ton of times, and the bites hurt a lot. next thing i knew, the snake had transformed into a human baby head. like... literally just the head - no body. and it was talking. my dreams are next level.

I swear I had about four different dreams last night, and I just don't feel rested at all because it feels like I wasn't even sleeping for all the dreaming.

The worst for me is when it takes you so long to get to sleep, it's light sleep, and you wake up so frequently that when morning comes you swear you didn't even sleep at all.

Maybe 2 or 3 nights ago I lay in bed for 4 hours. Last time I checked the clock it was quarter past 1 but I stayed awake long after that. I kept tossing and turning and next thing I know the sun is coming up. I swear I got no sleep because I don't remember there being any break in my consciousness. But I must've slept because I wasn't that tired the next morning

Those are the worst nights. I'm pretty sure I actually do sleep although it never really feels like it, but like you said, I often don't feel that tired the next day. But just laying in bed being awake for hours is so annoying. I normally end up taking some valerian as it makes me quite tired most of the time.
