Oh Liverpool!

Henderson still probably the worst player I've seen play in a Liverpool shirt.

Do you just close your eyes when Carroll comes on?

Don't really need to, he tends to stay invisible when he comes on.

I really like Jay Spearing as a player, he just has this no bones about him, old school approach to his game. I mean if the ball is there he will follow through with the tackle. Such a breath of fresh air to a game where some players would go over screaming if a gust of wind blew

It wasn't pretty but another 3 points for United :) although fulham should have had a peno there at the end. That said Man City got away with a clear peno for Stoke on Saturday too.

That'll be ignored cos it wasn't united who benefitted.

Good 3 points. United to reclaim their trophy, I can feel it!

Always liked Petrov as a player. Hope he wins this fight. Sad to see he has announced his retirement from football because of this too.

Used to love watching Petrov when he played for Celtic, shocked when I heard the news. Hope he can recover.

Sunderland are hammering City, amazing the job O'Neill is doing. They were 18th when he arrived, now they're top 7 or thereabouts. Never understood why he wasn't given a top job, he's one of the best managers out there.

City are finished though, the only hope they have is if they get to the utd match 6 points behind, win the game and hope Utd slip up. Won't happen though.

The quality of the Premiership has seriously dropped over the past two seasons, Utd who have been average this season are still going to win the league. Might seem competitive at a glance, but that's just because most the teams are shit.

Apparently Petrov's agent has denied that Petrov has retired. Glad to hear that, it would be sad way to finish a great career.

Arsenal werent at their best today shame, really hope we can manage to stay above Spuds. Looks like United will be holding on to their title after City drawing today but there is still time and anything can happen.

Great to see Muamba post up this picture of himself sitting up and smiling

Also sad to hear Petrov has retired, I hope he can fight this and make a full recovery.

In footballing terms he was getting on in his years anyway, I know someone who went through leukemia and its not something you can just get over in a year or two, at least it wasn't for my friend. I think we've seen the end of him on a football pitch, but hopefully not the end of him.

I fear you maybe right. He is 32 so he could still make it back at 34 or 35 years old, even if its at a lower level. I still have an old Celtic jersey in my wardrobe with Petrov 19 on the back of it. He was a great player for them and I hope he can be a great player for some team again.

Reina Sent off for liverpool. It should never have been a red card though, embarrassing dive from Perch. The game was as good as finished anyway I suppose.

Of course it was a red card, stupid reaction from Reina.

Hilarious game all round. Liverpool just about clinging on to their place in the top 10.

Joke team at the minute, I was hoping Reina would get sent off to see who would they put in goals, shame Enrique wasn't really tested. :D
Wasn't a sending off though, he gets tapped on the head, looks at Reina for about 3 seconds then falls to the ground, looked exactly like the time rivaldo dived during the world cup.

Lenny just isn't up to it, how long til all the deluded kopites can see that. Losing to Everton in the semi final would definitely be the last straw of he's not gone before that.

Liverpool aren't in transition, it's a flat out decline. When Suarez goes at the end of the season they'll really be in the shit.
