Sorry, I almost forgot!

Probably the best quality you'll find (I know you won't find another without the audio glitch).

I really love this song, it's great. The version I have includes them talking at the beginning before the song. Is it just me or has Mike's voice just not changed at all since then?

You're right, Mike always sounds the same. And that's the same version I used, except I started it when the music began. Better for iPod play.

I remember there was this documentary on Nimrod, and they showed a listing of songs for the album on paper ("Word Vs. World" was there). This was also where "Alison" and "19th Nervous Breakdown" came from. Unfortunately, I can't remember for the life of me where to find this video.

World vs World is not on that paper, I have the MTV clip you are referring to

World Vs World isn't even the official name, so you wouldn't see it on any real list

Makes me wonder why the band didn't record this and those other songs from 1989 instead of recording even older songs for the Sweet Children EP.

Same reason why they didn't release most of the 70 songs they had for 21st Century Breakdown and the 80 or so they had for the trilogy. I guess they didn't like them :(

Green Day tends to sit on their outtakes. They could have been recorded, but we'd never know.

I also remember "World Vs. World" was the title used when it was posted on the Green Day Concerts page, but it's since been deleted. I don't know where that title or "What About Today" originated from. Though even if it is just a rumor, "World Vs. World" was the title brought up in the Nimrod discussion.
