Yh, that's true... It pisses me off that it's all seated and the standing is outside the stadium on the grass.
Oh well... Maybe we can cause mosh-pit mischief from our seats lol. (Or at least pretend).

On the even page on livenation, it says all the presales that are going to happen and one of them is a fanclub presale so I'm pretty confident the IC will have a presale for this show.

Hi everybody,

I'm a French Green Day fan and I am going to New York City in August so I can't miss a Green Day show on the East cost !!
It's the first time I will ever go to the USA and I'd like to know if Holmdel show is the nearest show from NYC (among the dates which have been announced so far) ?? How long will it take to go from NYC to Holmdel ???

Besides, I'd like to know if the tickets are numbered and if it's an advantage to buy tickets through the Idiot Club for this show (to get the best position for the show) ??
I've heard that there will be only seating tickets so I guess you have to purchase the tickets very early to have the best position. Am I right ??

Man I was hoping they would announce ALL tour dates before tickets went on sale!! I want to go to MSG if they play there again this year, but this looks to be the show happening closest to NYC so far. There are several empty spots between August 3rd and August 14th, so I have a feeling MSG will be in there somewhere. Gonna end up getting ticks to this show on the pre-sale tomorrow though just in case there is no MSG show. Kinda frustrated about that this pre-sale is happening before all dates are posted though haha.

I'm so excited about this show, it's before I have to move back to school, it's during the weekend, and it's uber close to my house.

It takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to drive to Holmdel from NYC.
And if you can, definitely get tickets though the Idiot Club. There is no pit area, just seats all the way up to the front. There is a general admission but it's the farthest area away from the stage, it's on the lawn behind all the seats. If you want to be close to the stage don't get those, get regular seats.

Does anyone know how exactly the presale works? I have two options--the idiot club one and one through my credit card company. Does each one have it's own reserved, specific set of seats, or is it more the ability to purchase any seats first?? I'm torn about which one I should o because they both go live at 10AM tomorrow... AHHHH. how do I know which one has better seats reserved if that's how it works?
